Well if it has 10% less performance then it means you can get a 4060 for just 50 more bucks for 10% performance +dlls etc and I would get that over it personally, it has to be a little better than the 4060 imo
Definitely want to see it run against the A770 and 4060 in a full RTX minecraft world. But that's because I'm building my son a PC and that's his favorite game.
One of the best things about 4060ti is massive power reduction. Arc series was known for high power usage (especially on idle from what i heard of), really hope they fixed it with new ones.
even though i dont plan on buying a New GPU anytime soon, i really hope Intel knocks it out of the park with their new GPUS because we need more competition in the market.
@@anitaremenarova6662 Yes, but no one buys the 7600xt, we just buy the 7600. Besides it costs more because of the 16GB of vram instead of 8GB, there is no performance boost from it. Pretty much AMD's 4060 ti 16 GB. Do not compare a horribly priced card to a somewhat bad priced card.
I can immediately recognize a professional reviewer by the way he does his job! He's got it down pat. Design assessment, tactile impressions, dimensions, weight... Everything that a video adapter (not really) needs, which you'll install inside the case once and forget about it there forever until it burns out or you sell it to replace it with a normal and fast one.
Looks good. Obviously needs to be compared to A580, 4060, 7600, and at least one of the A750 or A770. But also 7600xt and 4060ti, as it should easily exceed the former cards. Also going to be worth comparing it to the 12gb 4070, 4070 Super, 7700xt and maybe the still available 6750xt. That's probably too many gpu's to test though, so if I had to trim it to 4 it would be 4060, 7600xt, 7700xt and 4070.

Honestly with how good the 285K is for productivity an Intel diehard fanboy running a 285K with a B580 actually wouldn't be a totally shit combination compared to just a few months ago with their house burning down and their drivers failing with an i9-14900KS A770 16GB build.
Intel said the B750 & 770 will come next year. I already have an A770 and the B770 is what I'm waiting for but I'm still patiently waiting to see how much the B580 has improved. :)

I've got an A770 and have the B580 ordered. I was really pleased with the 770 once the drivers matured, and the 580 could be a perfect card to not only get nvidia to drop their stupid prices, but as a viable alternative for mid-end gaming PCs I sell in my store.

I doubt this card is beating the 4060 even with the 12gb compared to 8gb because a lot of games lack behind compared to AMD and Nvidia. The RX 6750 XT is selling for 280 in my country and the ARC B580 is showing 260 so for 20 extra, it won't justify its release 👎

I pre-ordered the B580 LE so it is coming. Already have A770 LE. Both are fantastic looking cards. A770 does 4k for me and it is overclocked 2786MHz at 1.16V at 271W. Base is 2100MHz (2400MHz) 225W. CPU is i7-13700k. Most mid/high with RT. Early 2023 it was already pretty good and very enjoyable for 4k. For sure there was still some that were lacking support. Today the performance has doubled and it works just as well as AMD/Nvidia. Note they also have their problems and sponsored games. Future looks good as it is going to double in performance again. XeSS2 backwards compatible with XeSS FG and XeLL. Add APO with great promise 10-50% gain in all INTEL system. 256 bit bus and 16gb it will have many years of life in it. B580 limited to 1440p with 192 bit bus. Power potential from 190W to 225W (8 pin 150W + PCIe 75W). I think we can say it is 3000MHz if not a bit over. Don't test against 30 series because it hasn't got FS capability. It is yesteryear card that hasn't got any future proof in it. These are maybe what most are interest in. But if you understand the two architectures you have some idea of the performance.

I love my A770. Even with some odd driver issues, it has been a great card.
