Look, I know Americans aren't traditionally good at soccer. My father was born in Holland, so I grew up watching the clockwork orange. But for the first time in my life, I'm actually excited about an American prospect. He went to Europe as a teen and learned the game the right way. He cut his teeth at Borussia Dortmund. Now he's going to play for Chelsea in the English Premiere League. Top of the food chain. I hope he does well. It's the pinnacle of soccer talent. Cheers to you, Christian.
@crispy rock Yes, I agree. I think it's because we have baseball, basketball, football, hockey and golf -- all of which are more popular than soccer. Pulisic was lucky to have parents who both played at a high level (his mom through college and his dad professionally here for the indoor league). There just isn't as much of an opportunity to play here. I lived in Germany for a few years and was amazed and delighted to find pick-up soccer games everywhere. Hopefully, Pulisic will pull more Americans into the sport.
Not really, the americans pronounce pulisick because they are not used to croatian surnames while the rest of the world who watches more football know that it is pronounced lile ch, like modric, kovacic than pulisic
David Montgonery sure! Im really not being technical about it, both ways are correct, it was just an observation and i didnt mean to be arrogant or anything
@@peheoli6353 Actually, American fans pronounce it "Pulisick" because Christian himself has said that he pronounces it that way. It's common for Americans to Anglicize the pronunciation of their surnames (e.g. I commonly hear Americans with German surnames pronounce the "ch" in their names like a K instead of the German guttural), so Pulisic isn't really the odd one out for pronouncing his name that way.
The difference between Pulisic and his predecessors is that his skills don’t abandon him as the game speeds up. And his service into the box is already better than any American’s has ever been.
@@acl1218 well unfortunately he got hurt so he had to sit out some games and lampard rarely wants to tart him like he has a problem with Americans, but he has proven he can get it done. Hopefully Lampard opens his eyes..
My guy forgot the 18/19 season when he was competing with Sancho whose breakout season happened to be then. And in the 16/17 he had competition too, streets can’t forget Emre Mor, Ousamane Dembele, Reus, and gotze all fighting for CAM, LW and RW
@@jamesdowdy658 they need to pass to him more, I've noticed in the matches that he asks for it so many times and they just go for a shot or loose possession trying a wrong pass or pass back
Appreciate all goals with no bad music bro

The form he's been in recently is madd🔥

My favourite thing about Pulisic is that every commentator pronounces his name differently

Yeah USA captain..pulisic
@@philipmcniel4908 there is an interview where he said he’s OK with either pronunciation. He just pronounces it the anglicized way.

This manager at Chelsea doesnt know what he wants from him though. And its his former coach at Borrussia.
The U.S. has about 2 or 3 who are very young and close in class to Pulisic. One may be better.
Who’s here after masterclass solo goal vs Man City? He’s our next legend COYB 💙 1:49 already scored vs ederson back then lol
It's also weird seeing him play with Ousmane Dembele and Aubameyang.
Brad Marchand Yh how times changed it’s mad, that’s Dortmund though everyone goes in the end
I always take pleasure to see him playing.
He's been sensational for us. What a player!
Yeah...you meant fir Ac Milan, right?😅
Just revisiting this incredible talent... I miss this kid
Amazing player I like the confident. He is calm and direct. Up the Blues
That 17/18 team was filthy.
USA legend Christian Pulistic
Even though he doesn’t start at Chelsea, we still love him. And as a USMNT fan I hope he achieves his full potential🤝🦅🇺🇸
Crazy to think he’ll probably get 20 goals in one season with Chelsea 🤯🤯🤯
Arn Martin slow down mate haha
20 Idk about that chief more like 15. But I can be wrong.
Eventually. I doubt he scores more than 10-15 this season though.
15 goals would be a tremendous achievement for him.

Super finisher and the Dortmund goalscorer
Dolls
Looking at his goals, he ain't gonna dribble 3 players to score but very effective method he has that is a sharp shooter
Might not be the case now😂
Well. This aged quickly 😅
🤣🤣🤣 I was definitely wrong
Here before this gets taken down lmao
Hopefully not. It already got blocked in Germany and other European countries. I’m fine with it as long as it’s not blocked in the US.
Amazing
My man PUUULLLLIIIII
Representing us well in European football! You the fuckin man Puli
Go pulisic
now hes bossing at chelsea

Funny how this just popped up on recommended

He could actually reach the same goal total in one year with chelsea... Improved his strike rate a lot
Ironic how his first goal was against hamburger sv classic American
The American/US international 🇺🇸
He's exciting to watch n kids are watching in the USA beware in 15 years
Pulisic is the nxt big thing. He will have better progression than hazard trust me
Im an American. Im proud!🇺🇸
For an American to go there and just score one goal, i respect
it's unusual😃
His pressing is underrated
Who remembers when Real Madrid were crazy for him
Really?
Goal 11...😱

Hes Chelsea's best player
Hope there's a video of all of Pulisics USA goals so far

6:02 that nutmeg was disgusting
Lamps need to play him on the right
Lamps did that at the start of the season
He is good everywhere
He's my favorite player, I'm backing him to get a hatrick if he's fit to start today.
@@CJ-mq5lp I feel like he would play a good CAM but they should let him move more freely with the ball

Please please please please don’t ruin him Chelsea like you’ve ruined so many over the years.🤞

Munashe Yasina it looks like it, he’s been a sub half his tenure so far yet almost every appearance ends in an assist/goal

A few months later.......
You mean the way we ruined hazard, drogba or lampard?
Hirving lozano is still better overall
But as an mexican American I'm excited about him. And dest. And reyna.
I’m Mexican American as well but that is no comparison, Pulisic is clear from Lozano. He’s so dominant in every aspect
This turned out bad 😂😂
