I understand it’s been a long time ago. It just seems that the Nation of Islam left Khalid stranded when they needed him the most. He was truly the next one. No disrespect to anyone. But Farrakhan is still preaching at 80. Khalid was the next man. I just don’t like how things played out and how he died out the blue. It stinks to high heaven.

We all are gods. And to understand that Farrakhan was an extended mercy to us from God to show he hasnt forsaken us and as a test to true believers by removing Elijah Muhammad physical presence. @lharley222 This is long but please read it completely...
I like many others in the 80's and 90's was inspired by Farrakhan's rebel rousing speeches. I applied many of the ideological teachings of Elijah Muhammad. Some of us continued to learn, study, re-study, and not WORSHIP Elijah Muhammad, Farrakhan, or the NOI. When we matured our understanding matured, especially after the 2 Million Man March (MMM). The MMM's lack of social and economic progress was a wake up call for me. Farrakhan asked us to "Atone" but did not organize our resources. 2 million brothers organized could have been at least 5 million men, women, and children. That's the start of TRUE NATION BUILDING. That would have meant Farrakhan would have had to deal with the Global White Power Government, he wasn't put in power to advance us. He was put in power to put some of the best of our WARRIORS in bowties, give them news papers and bean pies to sell. Black America has had 88 years of the NOI and Farrakhan's ideological rhetoric from that is based on a fictional theology like ISLAM.
2nd MMM Farrakhan called for 10k strong black men, why not 10k white men (NOI is accepting them in the NOI now), why not LGBTQ, transgender? Because he is controlled opposition and only wants to ID the strong warrior black men that would go toe to toe with anyone for our LIBERATION, confound them, slap a bowtie on them for another 88 years or until OUR total GENOCIDE in America.
BTW...We need "The Nation" is a joke. Any Nation that ASK for land from it oppressor, ask them to support them economically for 25 years cannot (was not) be taken serious. Its a nice title "NATION", sounds good. A "Nation" inside another Nation is a WAR PRISONER, WAITING ON IT TOTAL GENOCIDE!

That is a lie! Khalid Was having problems with The Ministers Direction.. the same thing Farrakhan had with Wallace Muhammad the Late son of Elijah. Who took the Nation off the Path toward Sunni Islam. In the 70s Minister Farrakhan had been having Contacts with Scientology. Khalid was opposed .. in the early 90s the Nation started entering Contracts with HUD to Secure Projects in the Black Community.. Khalid suspended after the Keane College speech where so-called Jews were threatening Farakhan's life.. he taught on the Secret relationship between blacks and So called Jews..Min. Farrakhan I can recall was the 1 who kept denouncing Khalid calling his teachers ngs black Supremacy .. this was after the Assignation attempt.. Khalid stood loyal. During the Million Youth March . The Nation tried to do a Youth March in Atlanta 1997.. I was a Member at that time .. the Minister was discrediting Khallid's March.. the Minister lie to Khalid.. tell him to go to a location to meet and then Not Appear.. Khallid was banned from attending any Nation of Islam Mosque's during that time.. Security was removed from Khallid.. only F. O. I. That was in bad Standing or who wasn't active would provide Security for Khallid Muhammad's Speaking engagements.. I was of the brothers to provide such anytime me he was in Florida or Georgia..

That's why we are still struggling in the 21st century; because when we have an honest, courageous, fierce and fearless leader of our community at the helm; alike Dr. Khalid Muhammad; we buckle in fear. Hope you professor Griff see that the side you choose has done nothing to get our people out of modern day slavery and bondage; and we are being hunted and killed on the streets everyday; just as our ancestors did in the past. Our people of today lack courage and maybe 200 years from now; we will still be at the same place; with the same ideology and narrative being reverberated; because we have become complacent in this dispensation...Sad condition of our people.

I think Farrakhan saw him as a threat. He feared backlash from what Khalid was saying.
Even though Farrakhan says the things that he says and is deemed bold and controversial,
There is an invisible line that he does not cross, and this allows him to keep his platform.
Khalid crossed that line, Malcolm crossed that line, Pratrice Lumumba crossed that line,
Martin eventually crossed that line and it's evident in the way they paid the ultimate sacrifice

According to Brother Cokely, Farrakhan regretted kicking Khalid out because the Nation became weaker when those who went with Khalid became the New Black Panther Party.

Agreed. There’s just a way to go about doing certain things. Most people will never be leaders in that capacity so they can’t even wrap their brain around , essentially the importance of moving like a General. When you got millions of people who will move on your word, you have to be very careful about when and how you present certain things and unless a person has been in that seat they can’t possibly know what that’s like.

Tbh Khalid Farrakhan situation was a mirror of the Malcolm and Elijah situation. Farrakhan didn't like the fact that Khalid was sharper than him he was a better speaker. He reached the youth better. He was considered competition to Farrakhan. Farrakhan didn't and don't want a successor. It was some many opportunities for their beef to be squashed , Khalid had written letters and reached out to Farrakhan on more than a dozen occasions and just like Malcolm the powers that be and the channels you have to go to to get to the messanger wasn't allowed to get pass. Rip Khalid

Khalid like Malcolm also experienced that fork in the road, but evidently, they felt that falsehood should be exposed and kept in the dark. My own personal growth and development grew more listening to the powerful words of Malcolm X and Khalid Muhammad. To me, hearing Khalid foe the first time was Malcolm on steroids. I respect Griff. A great deal! re: airing of public grievances , I have one exception: Kenneth Babyface Edmonds. I've worked with many famous people who are "colourful" characters, crazy azz lives that I cld blow the horn on. But 20yrs being denied a paycheck is a dealbreaker. I did music on soulfood tv series in 2000. At that time I became pregnant AND disabled so I cldnt do the spot in LA at Paramount pictures. My life became extremely hard. & although the music was copyrighted, to this day I don't see a cent. I'll forever hold this against Babyface.
