He's come such a long way from the start. Look at him shaking his little hips, engaging his core, smiling, owning and filling his space on the floor - he's taking on all the critique from the judges over time and he's running with it, pushing himself and improving every week. No, it's not perfect, but that's what I come to see on Strictly, that's the charm - the evolution from an utter novice to someone confidently shaking his thang in the middle of the stage... in his little red pants and a Technicolor Dream Coat. I say, bravo.

Joe and Dianne did so incredibly well this week! Joe has really become more confident and you can see in his face that he was really enjoying this dance and giving it is all!! They dance so well together and you can tell that they genuinely love dancing together. I am so so proud of the journey that they have gone on together. I am also so glad that Dianne has been able to experience more of strictly and every week is new to Dianne too as she's never been this far in the competition before. I love this dance so much and it will forever be one of the best performances on musicals week!! So much love to both of them 💗

What people in this comment section seem to forget is that Joe learns what he's given. He doesn't create or choreograph the routine. I think he did fantastic and his score was well deserved.
I agree. I think he should be scored on how he did with the routine he was given. People act like he made the routine that way when in all honesty he has nothing to do with it.

I love how Di have him centre stage and other than the little partner bits, she danced the the backing dancers. Shows how much she trusts him to take the stage and deliver. I loved it ❤️

John Marshall I hate that whole “lifting isn’t dancing” it’s like why do people even have lifts in any dance at all then ???? you can’t tell me lifts by whomever aren’t part of dance when it adds to the dance
John Marshall you seem to have a real problem with “burly men” huh, he was carried for a total of 17 seconds in an over 2 minute long routine, women are often carried for MUCH longer than that!! and he made it look absolutely fab ☺️

It wasnt the most technically perfect of all the dances on the night, but it was easily my favourite. Joe your theatrical delivery beat out everyone else's by a mile. It made me smile so much

Lovely side by sides, great rhythm and wonderful armography I mean the enthusiasm and the rotation was brilliant I loved it he can do any dance now also good lifts *9/10* stop giving Joe a 80's look

you can really tell how much joe enjoys these types of dances, it is so much more energetic compared to his first few dances. he’s now smiling so much more in his dances. keep it up joe!
I loved this so much, especially the fact that he was being lifted😂😂
Gets me so emotional and happy to how much he improved. I always compare this and his quickstep to his first dances like the jive and it blows my mind. You have people like faye,ashley and stacey who stay level or maybe improve the odd week but Joe improves constantly. He tries SO hard and hes so passionate about it. Hes gotten so confident now and has such an amazing personality. He deserves to win in so many ways.

Joe being lifted made me laugh so loud I couldn't stay on my seat. Comments on RUclips are much more stomachable. I do like the RUclips comment section. But next week he will do a ballroom (he better) and he will smash it yet again. This dance was no exception. Cheers Joe and Dianne for a great routine. I'll binge watch this until next week :)

I loved this!! Not the most technically perfect of the night, but it felt the most like a musical number to me, I love how they really went for it. It's lovely seeing how much Joe's confidence has grown since the beginning of the competition, you could see he was loving it!
