- In this weeks video, those guys and galdem over at CARLY were kind enough to send over one of their OBD 2 diagnostics tools and in this video we red pill the megane and send it into the matrix that is a full health check, including battery, OBD codes, and a FULL ecu scan for previous logs etc and the results were erm... not ideal.

Hey man. Love your vids and your car. I am planning on buying one soon. The 300 Trophy one.
I just wanted to ask some questions. How is it to live with? How’s the fuel economy? How’s the maintenance like? Are parts easily available? And finally how’s the ride quality as it’ll be my daily driver for like 150kms commute to work daily.

As a daily it'll be as frugal as your right foot 😂 but the trophy is the stiffer of the models... Its not crashy by any means but I'm sure you can appreciate as a sport model it has to be ridgid to some degree for performance.
I daily mine and i absolutely love it, barely see another one too so i love the exclusivity.

Stay away from Carly. They are a horrible company to deal with and have been nothing but a headache. Better options out there with companies that want your business.
Haven't had any issues with them mate, but appreciate the heads up! Can't do much for my car with it yet but theres loads of cool stuff you can do on the german whips!

@@VersionOneUK when you select say comfort but don’t select sport race or perso what mode does it actually sit it. Also is there a way of turning off the gear change beep. Been through the menus and can’t see what it would be.
@@steviedeej so the gear change beeps are only in race i believe... And my car starts in comfort and I'm pretty sure you can't change that unfortunately
@@VersionOneUK what I mean dude is when you say select comfort. But then don’t select sport race or perso. So none of the three are highlighted. What mode does that make the car sit in.
@@steviedeej I'm sorry mate I don't follow... I don't know what you mean by sit in... Comfort is its own setting and I don't know how different it is to neutral, only ever used it on longer journeys
What’s the most eco mode for petrol?
I'm always in sport really as soon as the cars warmed up 😂 but for longer journeys I'm in comfort as it softens up the throttle etc so i imagine that will be the most frugal mode for fuel man
@@VersionOneUK you’ll be sick of me asking questions. 😂 sorry. When you first turn the car on in the morning and the temps aren’t up do you take it easy until they are up to heat.

I always let the car warm up properly on the softer modes, I won't move the car till at LEAST the cold start has settled, most of the time i let it run for a bit after that then set off... I use RS monitor for temps and I won't stand on it until the oils over 70 degrees etc

@@steviedeej you'll love it more and more each day mate... Theres not that many of them out there aswell so you'll do well to cross another one. Turns so many heads! I wanted the pano roof but got turned off because you don't get the black headliner 😂
