Just curious. Is that the original front end clip?

Yes. The Calais had thicker evenly-spaced "ribs" for the grilles. The Supreme had thinner ribs separated by several thicker ones that gave it a segmented look.

Very nice. If you ever think about selling your 78, let me know.

Unfortunately, the car has already been sold. I sold it to a gentleman in Ohio back in April 2017. I had 4 cars and only a 2-car garage. Needed to downsize. I only have 1 car at this point, my 1979 Hurst Olds I've had for almost 22 years.

Mary. Hmmm, this is ironic. I live in Ohio, have 4 classics & a one car garage, and own a 79 Hurst Olds in awesome shape. I also have a 78 Olds Cutlass Supreme Broughm. My other two cars are an 87 Monte Carlo SS & a 92 25th anniv Chev Camaro RS. That one I bought new in 92. A lot of similarities.

Unfortunately the guy you sold this car to has ripped it apart and ruined it.

Update; car still unmoved and rotting away. Owner refuses to do anything with it but also refuses to sell it. Very sad ☹

Car is now in worse shape than before. Unless it gets sold it will never be drivable again.
