⚠⚠ Sadly guys, this video remains as a historic record. This beautiful garden (like my house) is about to be knocked down as part of the city redevelopment plan. It’s already closed. Too close to the golf course, so probably going to become another hotel or something. 😔 ⚠⚠
@@kellyluppens4110I don't think so. I haven't been down there but someone told me this week that they've packed up and moved. I think they're reopening somewhere else, but I don't know where. It's such a shame, it was a lovely place.
This park was built next my primary school whenever I pass there it always bring fun memories, they also did an amazing jobs with the design in my opinion it’s the best park we have in the city but sadly we Rwandans don’t enjoy this kind establishments as much as we should mostly people go there for weddings only .
I do not like this park one bit. While the Nyandungu Eco Park is relaxing, this one is like a hoarder's backyard. A heteroclitic collection of random items, potted plants displayed with no rhyme or reason. But, maybe that is the point? Definitely more Basquiat than Monet..
i think nyandungu is kinda boring compared to sunday park , at least sunday park has new or different things to explore as you walk but nyandungu , not too. many . in my opinion tho
@@raissa9075 I understand what you're saying. Eco Park is like a Japanese Zen garden. It allows you to be alone with your thoughts, meditate and just breathe. Sunday Park is more like a trip to the flea market, a surprise awaits every corner. Depends what mood you're in, I guess..

5:00 this part looks like it was inspired by an exotic poppy field. Beautiful and intriguing places throughout.
What an amazing place 🌺 think the multi flora pink rose is a Girtrude Jekyll 🌹
good content and good video quality , keep it up 😍
you are doing a good job 👏I live in Kigali but never went to Sunday park
It's really pretty, but I've never seen them advertise anywhere.

Really? Ah, I love the fact it's so haphazard. I haven't been to Nyandungu Eco Park yet. Do you have to pay to get in?
@@writerinrwanda Yes, you have to pay to get in. Last time I checked, it was 5000 RWF.
@@mwenengofero Thanks, I'll check it out.
