I might be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure SAS10 used that "Goodnight" outro for years. I vaguely remember seeing it with the old SAS10 logo (like the one in the uploader's profile pic), which would've been the early '80s.
I'm curious to ask... when SAS10 closes down sometime in 1987, before the time SAS10 became ADS10, they show slow motion footage of a kangaroo jumping and the "Goodnight from TEN" message comes on. Do they use the same "goodnight" song during the kangaroo film and the announcer talking about programs coming on the next broadcast day? And then do they show the Australian Motors/Solomon Carpets clock after the "goodnight" message, and then do they show the same Advance Australia Fair film or a different film with Army vehicles? I like to know.
'Cheers' at 10:30pm? Such a graveyard timeslot for a contemporary sitcom, even more so in the mid-80s.
The bold and the beautiful is on network ten
Original TX Date: 24 September 1985, 2.19am (result of NFL game was 49ers 34 Raiders 10)

The old Victoria square falls. Why did they chop it?
