      DAGATHire
      Ye he cannot defend well at all, although Ireland got obstructed 3 times when Scotland scored there 1st try...

      to be fair to him our defensive system does leave our wingers exposed to a 2v1 and relies on the wing to make the right call. In the last 2 games Stockdale's got that call 100% right in the big, big moments and scored 2 tries from intercepts

    Ireland deserved to win the grand slam as they are good and have been consistent and I am a Scotland fan. We lacked the required accuracy when it counted which lost us the game. But we will get better.
    Good luck Ireland at Twickenham I hope you beat England and we hammer the Italians so we finish above England (one hopes).

    Have to laugh at Sean Cronin when he thought no one saw that try, in a match watched by millions that was never going to be missed.

    The Scots should be proud of their Six Nations this year.................Second only to Ireland and a pleasure to watch them.

    Can someone explain to me why Cronin's try didn't count as double movement? Look like he was tackled although I'm not clear on the rules

    • @ivanmcg1908
      @ivanmcg1908 6 лет назад +2

      George Davies either way the tackle was illegal, so i imagine a penalty try would have been awarded had the ref called that

    • @TheSimonmc
      @TheSimonmc 5 лет назад

      The referee would have considered that the Scottish player was part of the maul. Cronin "broke free" from the maul and made his way to the line, it doesn't matter if he did that on his knees.

    Ireland hand no respect for Scotland , 5 minuets in penalty , kick to the corner . I was on the Scottish 22 ,the look on the Scottish faces said it all , they looked a broken team .......

      Intart what?

    • @brianw3688
      @brianw3688 6 лет назад +2

      Kicking for the corner is more about confidence in your own ability to touch down against your opposition, not about disrespect.

    • @heyhey5712
      @heyhey5712 6 лет назад +1

      brian w do you think Ireland will kick to the corner against England in the first 5 minutes of the game on Saturday, Ireland have too much respect for England to so arrogant. The result against Scotland was never in doubt . Scottish rugby is a bit of a jolly , no one really takes them seriously.

    • @cathalodiubhain5739

      Maybe thats what happened England

    • @brianw3688
      @brianw3688 6 лет назад

      I hope, and expect, them to do so. That is not distespecting your opponents. Better still, after their racist managers comments about the Irish, and Welsh, i hope we kick for the corner everytime we get the chance.

    Was there not obstruction on the last try? Green 2 appeared to have disengaged from the maul before dotting down?

    • @shaneshaneist
      @shaneshaneist 6 лет назад +1

      Azizul Adnan Its only obstruction if you disengage and then reengage with the same maul or any of your own players in front of you.
