For the only day of the year, greenline 702 runs All-Day between Reading Station and Central London via Slough, which also means there are services from London to Reading during daytime for the 1st time!!! Normally there is only 1 night departure run fast between Slough and Reading.
No 702 runs between Slough, Windsor and Legoland that day, but there are guarantee connections with 703 to Windsor or Heathrow T5.
There are no trains between Reading, Slough and London that day. Therefore, many people relying on this route to get in and out of London unless taking TFL buses. Some buses ended up fully seated and skipped some stops.

I was amused by the sign on the bus stop at Hammersmith Bridge Road. It says "No stopping except local buses" and the 702 is the only one at that stop with the slightest claim to being a local bus. The other are going to places like Bristol and Southampton and othe distant places.
