I'm in tears....as a single mom, I had to save a little to buy my older son a used acoustic guitar. We got home from picking it up and he went on RUclips. In less than 30 minutes, he learned 3 chords. It breaks my heart I cannot afford lessons for him but our love for music will inspire him to learn regardless. This is a great song - the three chords represent me, my older son, and my younger son....we may not have much, but we have what we need and we love music! Wow! I'm over 50 and just learning to play guitar this year via RUclips, and heard the "3 chords and the truth" reference early on. Don't know how I missed this great song and video until now, but it put a lump in my throat. The boy looks like my oldest did at that age. He's 22 now and survived cancer after 9 weeks of chemo this year. Hats off to you Chase for doing something great here. I'm a new fan and glad I found you.

😢😢😢 This video touched me so much... It truly shows how just one person can change an entire life by one act. Kids look up to peoples around and having good model is priceless. And as adults, we sometimes forget the impact that we can have on others. I adore music... Love but love to sing but I past many years avoiding it because of one person words. Then, with years, I felt I was dying or lost. 2 years ago, I got back on music for myself but in a few weeks, I even saw my own children change too in such a good way. I realised the impact that we have on them. I started to gain confidence, they gain some too. A few weeks ago, my 11 years old son even surprised me when he bought with his money an electric guitar. I thought I was the only one who love to play music, but not anymore. His words were priceless... “‘Mom, I know that you struggle with searching for someone who can okay while you sing, but you will not very soon because I will learn it and play what you want”. Chase Rice changed that kid life, my son changed mine. Through all that, I try to be the angel in peoples life everyday and share joy, love and hope 🥰

My nephew has Hemophilia severe type A, with an inhibitor. Thank you for bringing some awareness to this disease. Most people I’ve encountered know little to nothing about hemophilia.

😢😢😢 This video touched me so much... It truly shows how just one person can change an entire life by one act. Kids look up to peoples around and having good model is priceless. And as adults, we sometimes forget the impact that we can have on others. I adore music... Love but love to sing but I past many years avoiding it because of one person words. Then, with years, I felt I was dying or lost. 2 years ago, I got back on music for myself but in a few weeks, I even saw my own children change too in such a good way. I realised the impact that we have on them. I started to gain confidence, they gain some too. A few weeks ago, my 11 years old son even surprised me when he bought with his money an electric guitar. I thought I was the only one who love to play music, but not anymore. His words were priceless... “‘Mom, I know that you struggle with searching for someone who can okay while you sing, but you will not very soon because I will learn it and play what you want”. Chase Rice changed that kid life, my son changed mine. Through all that, I try to be the angel in peoples life everyday and share joy, love and hope 🥰

My nephew has Hemophilia severe type A, with an inhibitor. Thank you for bringing some awareness to this disease. Most people I’ve encountered know little to nothing about hemophilia.
