I support the score and snap too! I don’t use scissors anymore. I think you forgot to mention always ensure your blade is fresh! Makes it so much easier.
Looks awesome! Wide scale-like wheels in the back would be even better. I am a bit strange; If the engine/ drivewheel layout is wrong ( not matching with the original car. For instance if the original has the engine in the back and Tamiya puts it in the front) I am hesitant to buy the kit. Same with the width of the rear tyres. The countach doesn`t seem bad, but in that regard not perfect. But the bodywork you did is ekstremely nice!
You could hole punch a peice of the lexan and paint it and tape it into the antenna hole. I am the same way on the old cars I dont use the included long antenna tube anymore on like tamiya re-re cars. The countach is very beautiful! Nice work!!!
Man, that is gorgeous!! Like you, every time I see one for sale, the seller is VERY proud of it. It’s only on a TT-01 chassis! Anyway nice score brother.
Do you drive these beauties or just build? I’d find it hard to drive after all that detail work. Looks great! I have some of that Micron tape as well to try… looked awesome on the examples you showed. Cheers!
I was also one of those 'kids' (I say 'kids', but I graduated high school in 86l who dreamt of having a Countach. And, I had the posters. I also remember the one in "Cannonball Run" (for those who haven't seen the movie, you NEED to).
Turned out great 👌 as soon as i seen it the cannon ball theme tune started playing in my head. I wasnt on the lambo side back then. It was the Ferrari F40 for me 😎
the body looks awesome, the only thing that bugs me about this kit are the wheels, it looks like its running 22inch wheels and the rears need to be a lot wider with a lot more offset, other than that it looks really nice
Haha about the clicker Lamborghini. I had a smokey and the bandit trans am that did the same. I did have the lambo poster as well as the pick up truck with girls that said hauling ass! Can't believe how bad our jets sucked this year but as jets fans that's nothing new. Happy holidays and keep up the great work.
I had the Firebird version of that Radio Shack RC car and I put dishsoap on the floor to make it donut. I also had the Tyco Turbo Hopper - the Maroonish one. I did have the Lamborghini festivel poster - it was white and it had that cheap gold frame on it. Hahaha. When I was 13 I got the Porsche "Power and Poise" poster with the hot chick standing over the rear wheel :)
Beautiful car for sure! Have you featured the Coors Melling car? That car always caught my eye for the cool styling, but also because it came with off road tires too, I believe. I never saw much about it other than a small ad in the ends of rc magazines.
I have the white one that is ready to run. I took it apart and installed bearings. I also have a yellow body and another set of wheels. The body does have the panel lines on it. Thoughts?
Have you ever tried masking the panel lines on inside, and painting them black? I'm considering trying this on next car, but also expecting it to be fairly difficult to get the lines correct working from inside. I was going to this with try the same Kyosho tape. Have no idea how it will mask for painting.
I'm so jealous! I wish Tamiya would re-release this one.
That is absolutely beautiful!
Yes remember those well. Looks great.
beautiful job !
She’s a beauty! Well done.👍😊
great car my friend thank you for sharing
That Lambo looks great. Good job Ari.

Absolutely... fresh blade every time.

The absolute KEY in making this car right is the wheel well gaps. This looks pretty exact and I’d simply lower it a little.
😁👍I remember this beauty! Awesome Lambo!

Superb 👌
Oh man that is sweet.

I drive some and others I do not...
@ I hear that!

Came out amazing Ari!
That came out really nice. The lights and body lines will indeed take it to the next level. Great save cutting the windows out 👍
Came out awesome!
It is beautiful, Cheers from this Aussie in China!
That Lambo looks awesome as it is, it'll look even better with body panel lines. Brilliant stuff!!

DaYuMN! 😮
Countach will always be my favorite super car. I’d kill to have one of these
What a very nice result ✌ A shame about the hole in the roof, but yeah, it's an RC Car after all 😊 I am lucky have the red XB Version 🍾🤝
Nice 👍🏾💯

Damn Ari! It looks absolutely gorgeous 😊❣️ nice work!!
Had two of those Tyco’s . Then the Frog …….etc etc

Wow, such a beautiful model.
Why do I think those wheels are bigger than 1.9..?
Thanks for sharing.
I trace the cut lines with a fine Sharpie so they are easier to see and follow.
I had a one button general Lee that did that

can you make another video on the marui coors melling thunderbird

This needs a re release, looks amazing, don’t put the lines on.
It looks exactly, 100%, like mine. Except, I picked it up about 10 years ago as RTR, including a light kit
When's the Ferrari F40 or Porsche 959 coming? 😮
Race it your super fan.
You should hobby grade the the white Lamborghini.
Beautiful vehicle, but the rims are much too big. I would change them.
Madonna catching strays on RC RUclips!
I had one long ago and it had a hard plastic body..
thanks for not sharing any link

#Countach screams 80s
The wheels destroy the look of the entire car. So much out of proportion, the dish is so shallow. A crime especially on the rear wheels.
Not bad for an old RC car😉
@Kramskybmw that doesn't make sense! There are even older cars where they managed to produce appropriate wheels. Here they just dropped the ball!
I wouldn't say they "destroyed" it.! 😉
These wheels can be a touch better. I’d add a little wheel spacer if possible to get rid of any gap.
