A really lovely "Close to Christmas" recital. I especially enjoyed hearing the Shaw variations...they deserve to be rediscovered. But....everything was superb.
Thank you so much for a great concert. I do love melodic pieces. But Brother Elliott you continue to amaze me. I've watched your feet dance on the pedals & stretch for the "stops" but today your hands were also doing their parts while your thumb had a "solo"! Well done & happy Christmas.
Brilliant work on Let Earth Receive Her King! Crisp, clean, and perfectly played! Well done. And might I add it is a difficult arrangement - by you of course. I've been working on it for a year and only have a third of it partially good. And the pedal work - astounding!!
What a superb concert tonight.
The opening work, "Let Earth Receive Her King" is delightful. A worthy book-end to Chapman's "Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella".

Is your old melody - Greensleeves - published and available for purchase anywhere? It was beautifully done.
