Hey, I missed you by one year. I went to MS allstate in 2005. Marched LB snare in 2005 and 2006, and hopefully 07 and 08 too. Great solo by the way. I think its cool what you do for the churches, I use to play set at one of our local churches.
Thanks for the compliment by the way. No, I actually have not marched corps. I wanted to several summers, but just wasn't able to make it work out. Now, I'm involved very much so in leading worship at chruches around this area. I play drum set for many groups around here and got a chance to go on tour with a group from Hernando called Collective Element. A lot of people say I need to do corps atleast once, but I feel that leading worship is where God wants me.
Well, problem... I turn 21 this December. Yes, inspiration from Blast can be noted lol. The actual written solo doesn't start off with that fast roll, but my drum instructor thought it would be more impressive to add it to the intro. I actually changed a few other things in the intro afterward as well because it was too crushed. Some things definitely are crushed in this video, but I mean, you only get one shot in a performance. I've learned a lot since then.
I'm going to audition for the MS Lions Band in a week, and I'm in the 8th grade. Since it's mainly a high school clinic, it'll be challenging but I hope to do well.

A lot of them do I'm sure. Mississippi (where I'm from) puts out some good ones, and I know CA does, having watched RCC, Blue Devils, SCV, and others.
