As you may know, Chasca works better with elements other than Anemo. So I'd like you guys to decide whether or not it should be allowed to have other elements in my team. BUT they are only allowed to be in the team, not on field, so I'm technically not using them, or am I? Please discuss in the comments below and let me know why this should be allowed or not. I feel, that on an ameno only account, it would take away the challenge of using chasca, and sice a lot of anemo characters like swirling, but can’t t because of the limitations. I feel like it would take the challenge out of the account.
No tf, it would take an entire rotation of her E just to kill a normal metachurl if he just used her with 3 other anemo characters, that’s not a fun challenge anymore, that’s boring cause he’s not using even 1% of her kit, and it’s not like he is gonna use any other characters which are in his party so it’s technically all just chasca’s damage.
The whole point of anemo-only is, well, anemo-only. She technically still uses the other teammates in her party as bullets so you're still gonna be using them even if they're not on field. Besides, I think making her work in an all anemo-team is much more interesting and unique rather than go with what's established already. Is it gonna be harder? Probably. But it'll also be much more in-line with the whole theme. Plus, this is gonna set a precedent. If another character that needs swirl on their party appears, is it gonna have another exception? Just keep it simple.
To add onto your point, there's already been characters that have similar mechanics. Heizou, Lynette... not to mention the new Mizuki we're getting. So if Chasca ends up allowing the main idea of the challenge to not exist anymore, then it'll slip into others where the justification will be pushed to "Well, if the characters aren't on field then TECHNICALLY..." But then again, it's not up to us, it's up to Volt-yeah. And he'll see that if he caves, he'll just lose everyone to people like Java or w/e. Also, I did just do that. Because it's me encouraging him to say "screw you, I'm gonna make it work anyway to spite you." to me. That is, if this is a true challenge and not just a bandwagon ride ;)
On a mono anemo team, first great magic is actually better than her signature weapon. Cause uou have nothing to swirl for her sig weapon. But you can get full stack of first great magic by having the same element team mates.
I would be interested in seeing how Chasca could work in an anemo only team. Plus being an anemo only challenge I feel like having other elements in the team makes it feel less of a challenge account. But it's up to you. 😊
i definetly think you SHOULDN’T use other characters on the team. Although it doesn’t count if you’re not using a character of another element, u ARE using them since they change the way ur team is being played.
I usually am not like this but I am ngl, you shouldnt have other elements in your party when playing Chasca, just because Id like to see you suffer, especially because you pulled her bow that only works with swirl
How about this: you can use other elements(only with Chasca), however, they must be from mondstadt/ fit the common criteria for having an anemo vision(dead friend or relative)/ wanted an anemo vision(aka just charlotte)
Poor Chasca; first they killed her sister for story plot. Now the Saurians drops for ascension, the very same breed as her mother. She is going get a lot of PTSD from ascending.
You can use them but use them all under level 40 ascenion so you won't be able to get any different passive buff making it both an advantage and disadvantage and only allowed in abyss(optional)

@@starbiiy What do you mean 100% uptime? Neither does Chasca. Especially if you are using her with speed boost. She can fly for like 2 second or so. If you fly slower, then yeah... but that makes exploration quite slow. Chasca is better than Wanderer, but not better than Xianyun. I have all of these characters and after playing Chasca for few days, she's nice but only if you don't use speed boost. Speed boost is cool, but only on specific part of Natlan, otherwise she just gets rid of her stamina in an instant, even with full phlogiston bar. Meanwhile Xianyun is just consistently fast, can quickly descend any mountain and quickly reach stuff above. Chasca is barely number 3 of exploration units.
As a Chasca haver with a First Great Magic as her weapon, I use her with triple anemo and an flex element (Ororon), since my weapon (FGM) is requiring the same element of the user to buff the charged attacks. For her signature weapon, any swirlable elements will do to buff the attacks, no matter how random it is. 🙃
imo it's not cheating if you don't use them. however, there should also be limitations to the characters. for example: 1) they should all be under lvl 40 (id prefer lvl 1 tbh but i know you level them for the free fate sometimes) so that they don't have any useful passives unlocked. 2) they should not have cons activated because some cons (like razor c2, candace c6, or barbara c6 can activate if certain conditions are met). 3) there shouldn't be any elemental resonances in the team other than anemo to avoid getting better buffs (baring the protective canopy buff that gives more elemental and physical res). 4) all the other characters in the party should be dead, so as to avoid accidentally switching into them (this also applies in domains and abyss, so that you waste some time killing them before you can start to clear the chamber). chasca will still apply their elements even if they are dead. more rules can be added and amended.
My answer isnt the most helpful: it depends. I started an anemo only account (inspired by you and a few other youtubers 😊) and I have been keeping my party full before having enough anemo characters, mostly to give them free xp for that first ascension. However, I've been careful not to do anything that would give me bonuses, like Pyro resonance. Making Chasca a rainbow team would give her all elemental resistance so I didn't want to do that if I got her, but that's the way I'm playing personally. I think if you got her C1 she would still work with another anemo unit and two PECH for max damage without the actual rainbow team, so that would feel less like cheating maybe. But personally my account is so young I need other anemo units first and I'm still enjoying the challenge of finding elements in the world that I can swirl. Maybe I'll get her on future reruns when my account is a little more established like yours
Use Chasca, but use Enemy's Elements to get her to work as designed; that seems fair and a more exciting challenge. Using other characters' elements defeats the purpose of what I assume was the original intention of this account - Anemo only; otherwise, it's just another Genshin account of a player that favors Anemo. EDIT: this is not right, she cannot use enemy elements - my mistake.

You can use them but not pike 2 hiydro or 2 piro become then you will get other buffs too so just use 3 different lv1 characters from other alments so even if you want you. Cant do the dameg with them 😅* dont mind my spelling mistakes

Yes I think that you should be allowed to put other members in your team if you're not gonna use them but I'm not sure if their level actually impacts chasca's dmg so if it doesn't then I would say you are not allowed to level them up
Ill consider it a work around, think of the puzzles you'll now be able to do, as long as you don't use them you'll be trading buffs and sustainability which is balanced imo

sure, why not? If you're never going to use them and only play Chasca, then it's fine by me idk. But maybe you could do at least one other anemo to make it more anemo only (for example lan yan when she comes out, cuz she's a sheldier)

This is a anemo only account. So why would you do any other dmg then anemo and physical. To me it would destroy the fact that it is a anemo account. But you can destroy the anemo account any way you like. Do know that I will probably not enjoy it as much.

I think you should do mono anemo Chasca. Java has a geo only challenge and makes characters like Xilonen and Navia work without other elements.

The first great magic doesn't need the same element for the charge attack buff. it's always active. Having a matching element just increases attack

For an all anemo team, lyneys bow would have been better for the attack bonus you get for having x amount of similar type users in your team

I never regretted pulling for Chasca on my main acct. She's an absolute unit.
