3716 is serving up in Summerland on the KVSR. It's the only remaining bit of the CP's old KVR sub, so it's entirely separated from any main lines, so not much of a chance of that ever coming down. As for BC Rail's steam program, that ended in 2002 along with BC Rail as a whole
Nicks Adventures, 2860, the Royal Hudson, is at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park at Squamish, British Columbia on display. 3716 still operates on 16 miles of track above Summerland, British Columbia Canada on the former Kettle Valley Railway (CP Rail) trackage.
2860 is still able to run. However it was CEO of CN and CP that put a ban on steam. The new CEO of CP however has a favourite engine. Cant recall her number but she is a Hudson class loco sitting in Calgary. She needs a mandatory boiler inspection before getting back out. Before that happens he is working on customer relations first as the previous CEO pissed them off. So there is a chance at seeing 2860 run again but damn I need to find somewhere to stay up to date but last I heard is that she is waiting for repairs as well
I wish I could have ride behind those excursions.
Beautiful
I wonder if 3716 could meet up and doublehead with MILW 261? What happened to the BC Rail Steam Program now?

@@joeypitt7800 what about the new CPKC steam program?
Where did 3716 and 2860 depart from first
The BC Rail Steam program and station was based from North Vancouver on W 1st st., just west of Pemberton ave.
Why is 2860 not running anymore
@@MCMotorsportsMedia why is 2860 not running anymore
@@rileysanesh5203 2860 needs boiler work and recertification. Also, CN frowns upon steam running on their tracks.
Do any of them run still?
