And, it seems clear that this choreography represents the situation of their relationship at that moment, and in which Scott had already publicly presented his fiancée, since the choreography ends not with a hug, but with Tessa and Scott moving away from each other. This figure skating pair is unique in the history of figure skating for the way in which Scott and Tessa theatricalize their performances.

My heart is so hurt with this performance. I totally respect their decision of stop skating together, but still is too heartbreaking and emotional. I really hope they are happy in their separate lives now
Can anyone tell me how they are going to separate after this tour they are so crazy about each other they have more chemistry on this tour than they did in a lot of their Olympic performances? It just seems very unreal what has happened and why are they doing this to each other? Maybe if he had not jumped so quickly and gotten engaged but given his and t's relationship a chance they may have worked it out. I feel they really don't want to separate I feel they really want to stay together and just can't find the way. I hope love wins out. Anyone agree?

The fiancee meant to separate them, I don't get a good feeling about her. She is bringing major baggage in this marriage. It is reported that she left a husband of 10 years had multiple affairs on him S being one of the affairs so the marriage is already in trouble. S getting engaged ended the potential partnership/friendship because fiancee will not allow him near T after the tour she does not trust them together. I fear that he is walking into a terrible situation with this woman. She is jealous of T and remember T was chosen as S skate partner by his aunt Carol this fiancee has had 22 years of hate built up at T so she is determined to take S away from T. You can see this in the woman's eyes how she looked at T especially during the WOF ceremony and the Western University doctorate ceremony it is so evident. I do wish S will see it before it is too late. He has said " that he did not discover pairs skating he discovered T", he has said " that he can't imagine the rest of his life without working with T, he has said "that they love being together and they are the happiest when they are on tour and performing" so what happened S? What are you thinking why are you allowing this woman to come between you? It is just not making sense. It is evident that T is hurting and I really don't see how she is even holding up on this tour every night being very cozy with S and S with her they look like they are the only two people in the rink. The sad part is they are deeply in love with each other soul mates and should end it together so sad. Scott, during their skating career, was always so protective of T always wanting to hug her and kiss her far beyond platonic or far beyond in intimate attention the average pair dancers give to each other. Something dreadfully has happened terrible it was not supposed to end this way I feel sad that S for some reason is being forced into this marriage because everything surrounding it is just not adding up. He does not look like a man who is happy and excited to be engaged at all he looks sad and under a lot of pressure. I really thought he would always protect his Tessa. He also did say "I don't think Tessa even realizes she keeps me alive" well this sounds like a man who is in love deeply in love. I guess we will find out a lot when the tour ends. I feel fans are holding our breath because we don't want them to separate it is so hard.

T and S are loving life on this tour they are having a blast or they are amazingly great actors and should be in Hollywood. However, because of the things they have said about each other on interviews how they love being together and looked forward after their careers to keep skating in shows naturally fans are very confused as to why S would get engaged and end the partnership. I feel he rushed into a situation that he will regret. Getting engaged to this woman has definitely destroyed the partnership that he and T had. Fiance' is jealous of T and will never allow S to be in skating shows with T never. He will marry her, go with her to Florida and will eventually disappear from the minds of fans. In another generation, he will be "Scott who?" This woman has 22 years of hate towards T because she was not chosen to be S partner and T is getting all the fame and recognition having lived the Olympic story with S and might I also add the love story with S so now this is fiance's revenge. In my opinion, she got with S at a weak moment in his life "post-Olympic" depression and, unfortunately, he has fallen into her web. Who is she anyway how long has he even known this woman? She is not someone that everyone knew he was dating and sorta expected the engagement to happen at some point but she just appeared out of nowhere. I truly pray he wakes up and realizes what he could be walking into and end the engagement. Also, T and S are extremely cozy on this tour especially at the night club scene at the table he certainly does not look like a guy who is engaged the way he and T are interacting with each other. After the Fix You performance there are visible tears from each other. So why end it, what is the pressure to end the friendship/partnership? I pray somehow they find a way to stay together. Why announce this engagement before the tour? A man of a high profile like S usually goes on TV with fiance' and announces an engagement and is interviewed but nothing at least I have not seen anything of this nature on social media why so quiet everything is on the QT unless it will happen after the tour. Their love is very, very deep and complicated because they are 2 souls that are joined their spirits are joined that is why they are finding it so hard to let go. Question? Why did he rush into this engagement something is not right?
Couldn’t agree more. There’s no way Scott is going to throw away 22 years of partnership with Tessa. Even his mom said in a interview it’s going to be very hard for the both of them when we do part ways. I really hope they stay in eachother lives. Like come on, every milestone in their lives, they accomplish together. Scott has and will always love Tessa. I don’t know if he has the balls to tell her but he should before he makes the biggest mistake of his life by marrying that money hungry broad. Because Tessa has always look very much in love with Scott also, she hasn’t dated anyone that I’ve known. This partnership has definitely grown into a more deeply meaningful relationship of 22 years, romantically behind camera.
