Massive Celtic fan, hate rangers. But no doubting we are 1 and 2 in terms of pure raw passion and fanatical support. The hatred drives the edge no other can compete with. If we had access to premiership money both would tear it up.
Maybe Celtic but remember the Glasgow Rangers let their club die.
The top two spots were always going to go to the Glasgow giants. Joint first place for both sets of fans. Third place team lavishing way behind the Old Firm powerhouses.
Holmesdale Fanatics are probably the only actual supporters in England that try to bring the ultras style into their support at football games. That is not to say other fan bases are trash compared to them, but support in England is different compared to the rest of the continent.
Agree mate I’d go as far to say England’s support style is totally different from Scotland and Ireland

The thing is Yiu can incorporate your city/club culture into an ultras group green brigade and unions bests being the best examples both are modelled after ultra groups on the continent but both bring in the cultures of the clubs mixed into the the ultra stile. I liked the mob at Lincoln a kind of mix between English casuals and European ultras style. Not sure if they are still on the go but it’s definitely a model I’d like to see English clubs follow.
Ultras from Italy have a different story to ultras from Poland Greece etc etc it’s not a one size fits all.

Ive sometimes seen people saying it’s embarrassing support but to me I think they’re just jealous that their own team doesn’t have fans like we do 🤣. I think the lack of flares/pyro comes down to strict regulations but theres normally always a fan or two that sneak some pyro in

Erm when Rangers took 250,000 to Manchester and Rangers took 250,000 to Seville, when Rangers hold the UK club stadium record and Rangers hold the traveling record for fans in the Champions league then we can argue against Celtic being number 1. I think it's pretty obvious how we can say Celtic shouldn't be number one on the list

@@overthewebb the highest attendance at a UCL match ever was Celtic against Leeds which had 136,000 in attendance rangers highest ever was and sure 250,000 rangers fans went to Manchester but that was in the UK so more accessible when they went to Seville they brought a similar amount to Celtic around 100,000
