PS developer optimise each games much better because it is a constant entity, incase of PC we cant pin point a single entity there are many combinations of hardwares and software. Games like Pubg and genshin impact does not use fixed amount of resources, For ex: when resources required when there is 4 players in the area will differ from resource for 10 players in that same area. Here the IOS especially IPAD handles the sudden demand of changing resources better than the Android mobile. This is easily noticable even among the 40k- 50k Android mobiles compared to Iphones and ipad at the same range. Andoid mobile keep up its performance for one or two years till they receive thier regular software updates. But IOS keeps releasing thier upadtes from what i know for 5-6 years they actually win the long run. We can argue with Android phone like rog, Balck shark, and red Magic. Still it again comes to software and hardware optimisation like PS.
In eSports players perspective(BGMI): 1. Frame drop: if u take comparison of high-end mobile of 2020 in current year(2023) Android: Samsung S20 ultra (₹93k) Apple: iPhone 12 (₹70k) If you play a competitive Scrims/tourney surely in Samsung you will feel frame drop 60fps will go down till 30fps for few seconds. And In iPhone 12 u will get minor frame drop but not like Samsung . (Even ROG phone will perform the same like Samsung in eSports scenario) 2. Screenrecording/streaming: (Gameplay recording is must while playing tournament for verification if any hacking aligation rised towards you) : android ROG / Samsung will get major framedrop and heating issue while recording the gameplay . The first thing you learn in Computer Architecture course in college is that a CPU can only be compared by its execution time for a given task. A particular task can have different number of instructions depending on the compiler and various other factors. So even if a processor has less MIPS score, it can perform better if it has less number of instructions for a given task.
Also, the number of clock cyles to execute a single instruction also varies with your sw and hw design. And duration for a single clock cycle depends on your clock frequency.

Optimisation is a must... It's the only reason consoles are running a game smoothly. Why switch still runs many games on a good enough frame rate.... Without optimisation you'll be forced to buy high end hardware or run the game on lower frame rates ....
I used to have this same mindset of getting the most bangforbuck processor with highest performance that I can get for my budget, for both phones and computers. Then I realised what is the point, if most applications you are using are not utilising the cores of cpu effectively or apps and OS not using ram management efficiently, especially true for higher end intel, amd chips. In reality there is very few opportunities to actually reap benefit, to utilise the full performance of the chip on ur daily usage,even if ur a fairly heavy user, except when benchmarking lol. Currently Im using 20-30k android phones with AOSP stockish CROMs, sacrificing on reliability and small bugs. So instead of paying for pure hardware, pay for the whole experience.

According to my perspective as a esports player BGMI runs in iPhone so smoothly without framedrops even if you record your gameplay and they are many issues in android while recording i.e voice issues framedrops etc etc. We can play normal matches in android so smoothly but not in serious matches i.e scrims/tournaments which is because of the framedrops if the phone supports 90fps but it won’t give the full fps you only get 60 barely sometimes even goes low and there are rendering issues in android while we play BGMI so these are the major causes people prefers iPhone especially competitive field for a better and smooth gameplay not a hater of android just spitting the facts iphone > android in BGMI at anytime

I've used a couple of Android phones before switching to iPhones.. have mostly recommended iPhones and iOS to others purely because as you mentioned the hardware and software are in sync and coexist.. this has perhaps been the biggest turn off for me with Android and Android Phones.. the unnecessary gimmicks, bloatware, launchers and nonsense that mobile phone manufacturers bundle with the phones are so tedious.. Pure vanilla android seems far superior and a good experience (but are you being constantly monitored by them is one another worrying factor).. anyways I don't know how much a common man thinks about all this (the above, not the content in your video.. that is splendid and pretty useful.. I agree android is better than iPhone, but my concern with android is frequent security patch and upgrades. If they fix those with limited edition of product releases most of us go for android. Because we get confuse with lots of android releases on which one will be good to select for longer use. Hope this comment clears.
Bro the Android security patch is available every month. only problem is the companies, some will give you on OTA every month some brands quarterly, some will give along with OS upgrade so choose the one you want. now a days Samsung and Pixel used to release the patch and feature drops every month 1st Monday or Tuesday upto agreed years.
We have Xiaomi, Iqoo and realme phones at home with current month Android security patch. Only problem is the spare Motorola phone which is 3 months behind and 1 android version older. I heard Samsung is the best for timely softwares now.

As a competitive player, I will say that you cannot match an iPhones performance with any higher end Andriod. Not just how the game runs, the gyroscope and touch response is also better in iPhone.

A2D if you have best cording knowledge you will definitely comes with optimized output for the device. Android phones need more mah batteries than apple due to the unoptimized apps which are developed by unprofessional developers. Only professional developers can develop iOS apps. I worked in oracle erp solutions and I optimized so many resource hungry process and reports.
Yes . The conversation is more of overlayed and but not indepth technical analysis is what I feel though. Also could not accept his statement about Apple's hardware which is not the truth. I have been using both Android & iPhone for a long time but the way Apple's SOC handles multi-tasking/multi-threading is quiet better than the Android. Also as you said the optimisation is done very well for Apple apps than the Android apps to run in the OS. Overclocking alone is not just enough at the same time it must align with the frequency range & the cores. The debate is not going to end. We would expect A2D must come up with more of technical aspects to prove either Android or iOS is best and not just the spoken theories.
I wouldn't say Android needs more battery entirely because of unoptimised apps but I think it has to do with all the bloatware crap and tracking that comes in part with whatever Android device you maybe using. Generally a custom ROM like Calyx or LineageOS might give an enhanced battery life

I used to have this same mindset of getting the most bangforbuck processor with highest performance that I can get for my budget, for both phones and computers. Then I realised what is the point, if most applications you are using are not utilising the cores of cpu effectively or apps and OS not using ram management efficiently, especially true for higher end intel, amd chips. In reality there is very few opportunities to actually reap benefit, to utilise the full performance of the chip on ur daily usage,even if ur a fairly heavy user, except when benchmarking lol. Currently Im using 20-30k android phones with AOSP stockish CROMs, sacrificing on reliability and small bugs. So instead of paying for pure hardware, pay for the whole experience.

According to my perspective as a esports player BGMI runs in iPhone so smoothly without framedrops even if you record your gameplay and they are many issues in android while recording i.e voice issues framedrops etc etc. We can play normal matches in android so smoothly but not in serious matches i.e scrims/tournaments which is because of the framedrops if the phone supports 90fps but it won’t give the full fps you only get 60 barely sometimes even goes low and there are rendering issues in android while we play BGMI so these are the major causes people prefers iPhone especially competitive field for a better and smooth gameplay not a hater of android just spitting the facts iphone > android in BGMI at anytime

I've used a couple of Android phones before switching to iPhones.. have mostly recommended iPhones and iOS to others purely because as you mentioned the hardware and software are in sync and coexist.. this has perhaps been the biggest turn off for me with Android and Android Phones.. the unnecessary gimmicks, bloatware, launchers and nonsense that mobile phone manufacturers bundle with the phones are so tedious.. Pure vanilla android seems far superior and a good experience (but are you being constantly monitored by them is one another worrying factor).. anyways I don't know how much a common man thinks about all this (the above, not the content in your video.. that is splendid and pretty useful.. I hope parents watch this first and get their kids basic phones or just a feature phone 😂).. thank you once again (to you both) for the informative video.

The thing is both iphones as well as high-end androids are capable of running high demanding games like pubg...but optimization doesn't exist in androids(terrible fps fluctuations) meanwhile iphones are perfectly optimized to run those high demanding games(fps will remain at a constant spot without much fluctuations)

I agree android is better than iPhone, but my concern with android is frequent security patch and upgrades. If they fix those with limited edition of product releases most of us go for android. Because we get confuse with lots of android releases on which one will be good to select for longer use. Hope this comment clears.
Bro the Android security patch is available every month. only problem is the companies, some will give you on OTA every month some brands quarterly, some will give along with OS upgrade so choose the one you want. now a days Samsung and Pixel used to release the patch and feature drops every month 1st Monday or Tuesday upto agreed years.
You can run custom OS after we lose support on Android. Well basically we have to replace apple after that

A2D if you have best cording knowledge you will definitely comes with optimized output for the device. Android phones need more mah batteries than apple due to the unoptimized apps which are developed by unprofessional developers. Only professional developers can develop iOS apps. I worked in oracle erp solutions and I optimized so many resource hungry process and reports.

I have been using both Android & iPhone for a long time but the way Apple's SOC handles multi-tasking/multi-threading is quiet better than the Android. Also as you said the optimisation is done very well for Apple apps than the Android apps to run in the OS.
Overclocking alone is not just enough at the same time it must align with the frequency range & the cores.
The debate is not going to end.
We would expect A2D must come up with more of technical aspects to prove either Android or iOS is best and not just the spoken theories.

I wouldn't say Android needs more battery entirely because of unoptimised apps but I think it has to do with all the bloatware crap and tracking that comes in part with whatever Android device you maybe using. Generally a custom ROM like Calyx or LineageOS might give an enhanced battery life
