Another useful seminar...tks for making the Science of happiness popular and easy to access!
Wonderful. Such useful, practical ideas that I can try to apply daily.
Great takeaways.
Psychological sighs, invisible remote, check in, positive empathy, joy spotting, thank you ++, exercise of taking pictures - to visualize what's most meaningful, feeling of Awe (awe-walks), active coping & small actions to betterment, non-violent communication, 10-keys paired with forgiveness and control elements.
WOOP - Wish-clarity, outcome-visualize deeply, obstacle-like issue especially what may be inside you, plan-to overcome that and first step towards the wish.
in relationship - more important to be interested than interesting.
Thank you for the summary. Glad you liked the takeaways
Really loved the suggestions in this, and will totally be trying these in daily life, thanks Vanessa. Awe walk!
Excellent interview. Vanessa and Mark make it look so easy!
Great to see, and hear, Vanessa laughing. We don’t see, or hear, enough laughter these days. Ken Dodd told me, whilst opening a summer fete at a mental health centre which I managed, that he was a laughter therapist! He told me that he loved watching and listening to his audience laugh 🤣😆🤭
Lovely!
My calming places are Kings Weston House Estate' and 'Blaise Castle Estate,' I love listening to the birds first thing in the morning before I get out of bed.
