I have a Strat Pro II in roasted pine, it is beautiful and plays so unbelievably well. Fender is now making some of the best guitars they have ever made. Thank God for Leo Fender and Orville Gibson, they enabled the best music the world has ever known.
Funny. That's what I said for about 15 minutes when I opened up mine...
I bought a brand new American Professional II Stratocaster from Sweetwater about a year ago. HSS, sunburst finish, tortoise shell pickguard, rosewood fretboard. Came to just a little over $2000 with tax and shipping. I absolutely love it. I have never owned a guitar anywhere near that expensive before. Everybody said I was crazy for paying that much when I could have gotten a Mexican made one for around a third of the price. I've had cheaper guitars, I still have 4 of them. I bought the APII because I wanted it and could afford it.
I have the exact same colour as yours on my American Pro 2, absolutely stunning. I have the three single coils but otherwise it’s identical. They are so smooth and easy to play. Hope you’re still enjoying it in 2023!

I got my Tele pro 2 couple of weeks ago and I was impressed. Best playing and sounding guitar out of the box I've ever seen. She is now my go to. Fender is making some good guitars.
That is gorgeous my friend!!! Watching you open the package and take it out of the box made it feel like I was doing that ha ha. I'm getting mine in March, and will be a Roasted Pine most likely because yours just looks great!! I was already deciding on that or a 3 tone sunburst. Still trying to decide if I want the HSS or SSS. But that is too cool!! Congrats and enjoy!!!

Dude I know what you mean. I'm waiting for March so I can buy mine. I have 3 player strats and and love them a lot, but seeing and hearing everyone that's bought the American Pro 2, I have to have one! Hope your wait isn't too long!
The string spacing is actually wider than a vintage Strat. It takes some time to adjust to that. When I added the Fender locking tuners, it doesn't go out of tune at all.
Just received MINE in a the same color but with the 3 single coils ,,,,,,,, Holy FuQ Indeed !
My 2012 strat came with many more case candies, is Fender scrimping 😆

Great looking guitar man. I really like the Sienna burst and the wood grain is lovely. I also have a Pro 2 HSS for about a year now. It's sonic blue and has a solid rosewood neck. It's one of my favourite guitars.
Exactly how I felt when I opened the box 6 months ago with my Dark Night Strat in it...without the HF, only because my wife was in the room with me. LOL Great colors and the neck is so smooth and easy to play on these guitars. Decided I need a Pro II Tele so getting that in a couple of weeks. Thought I wanted the roasted pine color but your sienna sunburst is looking might nice. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Beautiful grain. I’ve had the Miami blue/maple am pro ii strat for a few months and I love it. So much so that I just bought the Olympic white with rosewood too.
Love that finish man, picked up the American Pro II Telecaster Deluxe in Mercury a couple months ago and totally love it. Best neck I've ever owned on a guitar.

Sienna Sunburst has got to be the best strat color around right now. I have fallen in love with it myself. I see that you're married like me, and no one cared that you used a steak knife to open the box. That's weird.
I wanted to buy online. I have a great guitar shop he'll match or beat just about any offer on a new guitar.. I got 10% of his price plus 100 dollars off a fret dressing on the Plekk machine. Perfectly set up ,Out the door it was tax incl. $ 1879.00 . I got to play it and ok it before i paid ..
I purchased a PRS online supposed to be new came to me all out of wack.. Couldnt play it until I took it to be set up properly..
