Hi Lloyd, thanks for the review. Just a few thoughts to add: #1. The trigger is adjustable and by default is set to 14 3/4" LOP in the center position, however, it can be adjusted forward or backwards as needed. Additionally, the 22mm recoil pad that comes standard can be easily swapped out for the 27mm or 12mm pad options which can be done without gunsmithing. We have a video on our channel showing how easy the swap can be done. #2. The new Elos N2 R2 Sporting has a number of differences between it and the standard N2 Sporting aside from the appearance of the blue accents and upgraded wood. It has a different stock design and there is also more weight between the hands due to a full mid-rib whereas the standard N2 has a terminated mid-rib, also the fore-end design on the N2 RS has the rounded fore-end whereas the standard N2 has the Schnabel or "tulip" style. The sum of these differences equates to added weight between the shooters hands. These are just some of the differences worth noting.
Thanks for watching, I would have been happy to include that in the review if I was aware before recording :)
awesome
HI Fabarm USA and Lloyd Pattison. I have a Fabarm Elos N2 Allsport, not the RS, but I was thinking of the RS. At the 3min mark of this video I have a comment. You mention that this is a bargin gun. That comment seems to me, that this Fabarm, is a low value shotgun. I take exception to this comment, as I understand that Fabarm actually makes the barrels for CG. A very expensive sporting clay gun. I absolutly love my Fabarm. The fit is awesome, the quality is awesome, and I wouldn't consider it a bargin gun at all. Very good quality for the money, hands down. But just my two cents worth. I am a huge champion for Fabarm. But as for the rest of the video. I enjoyed it.
@@budzo100 I get the feeling he isn't a big fan of Fabarm for some reason. Which is interesting, as his CG reviews always seem so positive. I recall when he did the Axis RS12, he absolutely hated it. At the time, I was looking at the QRR version and his review turned me off of it. Wished I'd ignored it, because a year later I picked one up and it's been my favorite shotgun ever since.
@@sn972 It is absolutely my favorite. I have a Citori, actually a couple of them. and I keep going back and using my Elos Allsport. I think the QRR system is really an awesome feature on this particular gun I own. And I agree with the marketing of it. It was built for the University or College shooter that needs one gun to fit many disciplines. I love my Allsport. Maybe, after watching this video a few times, when Lloyd says it's a bargain, Maybe he's saying for the price. Your getting a really good value for the money. It might have been simply a mis-interpretation on my end. I hope so anyway.
I've just purchased one.. a 32inch model... Fits me perfectly after lowering the comb a Couple of millimeters from the supplied setting... The build quality is exceptional... all round fit of metal to metal... and wood to metal is hard to fault.. and at just under £2grand i chose this against a new Yildiz pro black grade 4 adjustable and a nice condition more expensive 2nd hand Caesar Guerini Summit allsport.
For the money this Gun has to be the bargain buy for 2024 as ive not read or heard a bad review on this Gun from anybody else either.
So how is it compared with other guns? I blind ordered mine and it will arive mid jan.
@@ragnarli1Compares well to my 10yr old Browning Cynergy (Walnut sock/Forend version) and Benelli Supersport World Cup Semi/Auto.
First time out with it i'm hitting my usual average of 85% kills.
Just needs the Wood to be improved with a few coats of Tru oil... So i'm very happy with it as a tool for clay busting.. With the added bonus of be a handsome well put together gun.
As per usual another cracking review
Thanks Richard.
Had a blue Porsche GT3 RS. So I guess I have to get this shotgun to match haha!
Great review 👏 👌 👍
Thank you 👍
Is this gun very different from the Axis? I have been looking at getting the Elos N2 ST and found the axis. I am still using my beretta - but i need a new sporter.
i think trigger is adjustable
Nice review, thank you for your effort. Is it comparable with big names? If to compare this gun with Browning 725, Beretta 694 and yildiz Pro, what would you say about gun handling and shootability compared? I have been shooting clays and hunting with my Baikal EM27 sporting (3,5kg) - which is a durable gun with a mechanical trigger yet accuracy is a big issue (one barrel shoots 30cm 7 o'clock. The only thing that I would miss in Fabarm is the mechanical trigger. I will drag this gun to hunting as well.
Ok, I will answer myself. This gun is hidden gem in this price range. It won't let anyone down. I compared it with browning 725 and Beretta 692 and it is equal but almost half the price. Got mine 2,3K€ and beretta was 4400€ and browning was 3500€. I'm happy happy owner.
Would you favour this over a yildiz pro black ?
Good question. I think it would probably come down to who has the best warranty support.
Yes
Hey Lloyd: Looking at a Browning sporting clays which is a higher price point than the Fabarm. Based on your review, as well as some others that I have seen, it would appear that the Fabarm at around $3500 is a pretty good deal.
How would you compare the Fabarm to say a Browning Sporting Clays piece? The Fabarm is about $1,500 less which is certainly attractive. You seemed to have really liked the way the gun performed.
thanks, MC
That model of browning isn't available in the UK I'm afraid. Are you in aus or USA / Canada?
USA
Ive been looking to go from a gas gun to an over and under for clays. I had a lot of people recommend the original Elos the past year. I couldn't tell if its just marketing or not so thanks for your review. Anything else I should look at at this price point?
You in the UK or the US?
@@lloydyp US
Browning 725 pro sport or the Fabarm Elos Allsport if you shoot several clays games, Beretta 687, maybe a Rizzini BR100 or S2000, but there isn’t good support here for them.
The Fabarm guns aren’t “flancy” in anyway, but they are good solid shooter’s!!
I've got a xlr semi and just bought a 2nd hand sxs. Can't fault the semi auto yet to shoot the sxs think fabarm are not too bad a gun at the price point. tho saying that won't be looking to swap out the beretta for that any time soon
Thanks for watching
Great stuff👍👍
Thanks for the visit
I was looking at something like the W&S sporting range for my first gun but I’ve been waiting so long for my license now I’ll end up changing my mind
All the forces are pretty well backed up at the moment. Be patient, you will get there.
@@lloydyp yeh I know , I think it was 12 months but they guy in charge retired and then they hired a few extras but they needed training I guess , it couldn’t have happened at a worse time with all the backlogs .
Do you know anything about the Webley&scot pro comp range ? All it says is coming soon on the website with no indication of price or arrival
I'll be sure and let you know as soon as I get a test gun. Watch this space.
@@lloydyp thank you 🙏🏻
Having ask permission for God given rights is BS!!
It took me 10 months to get a suppressor. It’s not right.
Hi Lloyd. been looking at one of these but cant find any. do you know who stocks them ?. did i see and slider on the safe liver ?? can you slector witch barrel shoots first ?. thanks Martin.
Yeah it has a barrel selector, for stockists I would suggest calling Anglo Italian as they are the distributor.
@@lloydyp Ok thanks for the info. i def do like the look of them looks a good gun. i try and fine a number for Anglo Italian are they in uk ??
Aye. 01564 742477
@@lloydyp Great thank you i give them a call tommrow. Martin.
Hi Lloyd. i gave Anglo a call they told me the gun should be in some of there stockists by end of may to mid june so i have been in touch with 3 of there stockists what are near to me and to be honisty 2 of them was not intrested, all they wanted to do was sell me somthing dirfreent so there out, the 3rd a gun shop on Tamworth and he was more then helpfull and said he was hoppeing to have one in June and would call me when he as it in and would try and do a deal on price too, so just waiting, Thank you for your help and i let you know how it turns out, Regards Martin.
Would you have the new RS at RRP or the original Elos for half and second hand? Or another recommendation in the 1-2k price range for a beginner
The new one is a much better gun. The other options for that money are manyfold but you can't go wrong with a used 525 or 686.
@@lloydyp thanks for the quick reply 🙃 do you know if the Thimbleby renta gun has any of these? Down with russ for a lesson in may
No idea sorry man.
Great review Lloyd - short and factual and none of the idiosyncratic meanderings of some reviewers. Really interesting gun although had been leaning towards the 525sl - how do you think they compare?
I genuinely think the 525SL is one of the better guns at that price point in the market. It's hard not to recommend the Browning.
@@lloydyp thanks Lloyd I thought that might be the case👍
I enjoy my N2 tbh..
1/4 3/4 perfect for double trap 😉
Not a discipline I would normally shoot.
Get your hands on a new KM4 please
Tall order Mike, no guarantees I am afraid.
I like the look, plain action is more my style.
If it was this new or a (used) F16, what would you say is better?
Now that's an interesting question, Generally I tend to advise buying used but in the case of the F16 there have been some issues which would make me want to make sure I had warranty cover. I think however, the F16 has the edge on handling and styling, as long as you are OK with a really lively gun.
Looks good... except for the writing on the side if the receiver. I hate the advertising. Just like buying a Perazzi and having "High Tech" on the side.
As I said, you either like it or you don't.

That’s rich coming from a guy that can’t spell👍🏻
@@lloydypPersonality I’m offended😅………… I think this video is going to make me go get one of these here in the states tomorrow {I like the styling and was looking at the 688 before this}
