    I love how when the target fell over, your youngest boy instinctively STOPPED cocking the crossbow and waited with the "muzzle" down, you didn't even have to tell him.

    One of my fave YT'ers. Great guy, great family, great dad. Didn't let the lack of natural light hinder the fun either!

    This was fun to watch. It makes me sad my boys aren't old enough to shoot yet, cuz I just had mine delivered and I assembled it today. I have a bunch of mods coming from Steambow soon, too. Only thing I can add is that it is better to use their page assembly guide here on RUclips, because there are a couple really good pointers in there to get the most out of your package; particularly with lube application but, more importantly, about filing down the latch edges to pre-wear the rail. The machine leaves the corners really jagged and will tear up your string fast if you do not give it that TLC during assembly. These things are beautiful though, and it's such a blessing to have family you can share it with. Awesome video.

    It’s been so neat seeing what great young men your boys are becoming.

    Way to be buddy! I remember seeing my 12yo boys eyes light up seeing a X products flame thrower at his first gun show. We had to bring it home, the look on his mothers face was priceless. He hasn’t missed a show since.

    I had one of these style of mini cross bows off amazon. Was like $35 bucks. This is basically the same overall design with the added stock and magazine.
    It worked pretty well.

    Novel toy. Classic case of over engineering. As I watch I can't help but think about how a normal simple light draw bow is better than this thing in nearly every way.

    • @BryceKimball7.3
      @BryceKimball7.3 8 месяцев назад +6

      Except this is probably more fun, holds multiple rounds, probably easier to learn to shoot, safer. Shooting a bow accurately takes a lot of practice, and consistency. Also, not shooting it correctly can cause injuries, like the bow string hitting your arm when you let it go if you don’t have a proper stance.

      @@BryceKimball7.3 Most of what you said why I called it a “novel toy”. Playing darts would at least give you skill at a game that is found in millions of places. Any skill developed with this unique contraption is mostly limited to this very uncommon device.

    • @lordhuck2689
      @lordhuck2689 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@BryceKimball7.3 learning a simple bow is more valuable and skill transferable than this. That’s why it’s just a novelty.
