When Parrikar became the chief minister the first thing he did was distribute anti Christian VCD in the schools. He also created constable jobs for RSS and said Christians don’t like constable jobs. Why did he not create jobs for Christians as per their choice. Why did the catholic legislators keep quiet and not ask for jobs for the Catholics. Bishop Felipe Neri was a silent spectator of this episode and a very close friend of Parrikar. The strength of BJP and RSS has strengthened because our catholic so called leaders have kept silent. We need to have outspoken Catholic leaders who work for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden. We need to invest in educating young Catholics to be ethical leaders and not just leaders who provide lip service.
Why don't the MLA'S especially the Catholic MLA'S silent ? Goa has never witnessed any disrespect of any religion be it Hindu, Muslim, Catholic or otherwise. The CM Mr Sawant has lit the fire of Communalism by his statements asking for the temples to be rebuilt and also stating that there are religious conversions in Goa & his government would never allow this to happen. All these years Goa and Goans lived in harmony and peace with each other. As a consequence of the CM Mr Sawant's statement these communal forces are slowly rising from their slumber and trying to divide the community.

Many Goans will condemn the statement made by Mr. Velingkar. Our religious leader Bishop Felipe Neri is quite and so our catholic MLA’s who are supporting BJP are all deaf, dumb and blind.
When Parrikar became the chief minister the first thing he did was distribute anti Christian VCD in the schools. He also created constable jobs for RSS and said Christians don’t like constable jobs. Why did he not create jobs for Christians as per their choice. Why did the catholic legislators keep quiet and not ask for jobs for the Catholics. Bishop Felipe Neri was a silent spectator of this episode and a very close friend of Parrikar. The strength of BJP and RSS has strengthened because our catholic so called leaders have kept silent.
We need to have outspoken Catholic leaders who work for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden. We need to invest in educating young Catholics to be ethical leaders and not just leaders who provide lip service.

Why don't the MLA'S especially the Catholic MLA'S silent ? Goa has never witnessed any disrespect of any religion be it Hindu, Muslim, Catholic or otherwise. The CM Mr Sawant has lit the fire of Communalism by his statements asking for the temples to be rebuilt and also stating that there are religious conversions in Goa & his government would never allow this to happen. All these years Goa and Goans lived in harmony and peace with each other. As a consequence of the CM Mr Sawant's statement these communal forces are slowly rising from their slumber and trying to divide the community.
