10:20 I don't know which textbook is he talking about. When I was a student, I hardly read any detailed account of Bose, Bhagat Singh or Ambedkar's chronicles in the NCERT books. No one has ever said that names like Bose, Azad, Bhagat Singh or Ambedkar did not space in the books.
The problem is with the disproportionate space that was given to Gandhi or Congress at the cost of others. Gandhi was great but NCERT and other books tried to portray him as the greatest ever and that's where the problem seeped in.
And Ambedkar's name is alive not due to any Congress or Gandhi but due to his followers. The sustained struggle of Ambedkarites over several decades and the rise of an Ambedkarite vote bank forced Congress to co-opt Ambedkar in its narrative. Otherwise, Nehru left no stones unturned in decimating Ambedkar's legacy.

The guy is quoting Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in his interview, but I think he should also refer to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's writings about the Moplah Revolt, as covered in his book 'Pakistan or The Partition of India'.

Ok, let me give you more details, according to govt records 2337 Moplah Rebellions died by police action and according to non-government data around 10000-12000 people died in the action including Hindus and Moplah Rebellions. But the most horrific thing was that the Moplah Rebellions crossed all kinds of barbarisms killing pregnant women and other innocents who didn't have any connection to oppress the Rebellions.
And for authentic data someone should go through C. Gopalan's (Deputy collector of that time) 'The Moplah Rebellion' that is considered authentic by most people.

* क्या कोई भी बाहर से आया व्यक्ति यह निर्णय करने में सक्षम है कि एक पंथ विशेष जो की सदियों से प्रताड़ना सेह रहा हो उसे सब तयाग्ने एवम भूलने के लिए कहा जाए?
* अपने मानदंडों से एक बहुसंप्रदायिक राष्ट्र पे विचार थोपने चाहिए?
- भले ही विचार जनकल्याण की भावना से प्रेरित हो, परंतु अंततः यह केवल ऊपरी संवेदना का ही प्रतिबिंब बन कर रह जायेंगे। अगर भारतवर्ष कि स्वंत्रता की कहानी सिर्फ गांधी जी के आगमन से ही शुरु हो, तब तो यह अधूरा सत्य ही मान्य होगा। अतः पूरी कहानी पढ़ने या लिखने से पहले भारत 1915 की स्तिथि पर कैसे पहुंचा, इसपे विचार करना बहुत आवश्यक बन जाता है।
वर्तमान और पूर्व के कई लेखक अपने विचारों को इसी वजह से एक संकुठित समयसीमा में ही बांधकर रह जाते हैं।
वो राष्ट्र पिता नही बन सकते।

मेरे मन मे प्रश्न उठते है कि जैसे हर हत्या के पीछे कोई मोटिव होता है , गाँधी जी कि हत्या को एक हत्या के रूप मे समझने कि:
प्रश्न 1: क्यूँ एक 36 वर्ष के युवक को एक 78 वर्ष के वृद्ध कि हत्या करना आखिरी विकल्प लगा? इसी से जुड़ा है ,उसे इस बात का पूरा आभास होगा कि इस कृत्य के बाद उसका जिवित रहना असंभव है, फिर भी उसे अपने जीवन से जायदा गाँधी जी कि हत्या महत्तवपूर्ण लगी ?
प्रश्न 2: आरोपी को इस अपराध से क्या लाभ हासिल करना था या हुआ? गांधी जी जैसे जन नायक कि हत्या करने के बाद उसे तो मृत्युदंड मिलना निश्चित था साथ ही उसका वा उसके परिवार को सदियों तक घृणा के पात्र के रूप मे देश देखेगा..क्या नाथूराम को इसका आभास था अगर हाँ तो उसे इस हत्या से अखिर क्या हासिल करना था?
एक 78 वर्ष का व्यक्ती लगभग अपनी पूरा जीवन जी चुका था हमारे यहां कहते है कि अब जीवन के आखिरी पायदान पर है वह 4-8 साल और जिवित रहते शायद अगर हत्या न होती तो ऐसे मे ठीक उस समय गांधी जी ऐसे किस काम मे लगे थे जिसे कुछ लोग या आरोपी उन्हें किसी भी कीमत पर करने नहीं देना चाहता था?
जब कोई हत्या जैसा अपराध होता है..तो आम मानस के मन मे..यह जानने कि उत्सुकता रहती है..कि किस हथियार से किया..किस लाभ के लिए किया..कैसी बनी योजना और आरोपी किस मानोदशा में था क्या उसने हत्या के बाद भागने कि छुपने कि कोशिश कि..या उसे कोई राजनीतिक लाभ हुआ..यह अर्थिक लाभ हुआ..etc .
इन विषयों पर किसी ऐतिहासिक साक्ष्यों के आधार पर कोई विद्वान प्रकाश डाले तो समझने मे असानी हो मुझे भी औऱ आने वाली युवा पीढ़ी को भी!!|

Has this writer written in his book about M K Gandhi's well documented advice to Hindus:
1) Writing in Young India in May 1921, Mahatma Gandhi declared:
“Hindus should never be angry against the Muslims even if the latter might make up their minds to undo even their existence” and Hindus “should not be afraid of death. After all, the killers will be none other than our Muslim brothers.”
2) Speech at Prayer Meeting New Delhi April 6, 1947 (From the Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi, Vol.87 pages 217-229)
"We should dispassionately think where we are drifting. Hindus should not harbour anger in their hearts against Muslims even if the latter wanted to destroy them. Even if the Muslims want to kill us all we should face death bravely. If they established their rule after killing Hindus we would be ushering in a new world by sacrificing our lives."
3) When a group of Punjabis reached Delhi(out of 1000 who started out, only 16 made it to Delhi alive) his advice to them was this-
"If all the Punjabis were to die to the last man without killing, the Punjab would become immortal. But you take up arms and when you are worsted you come to me. Of what help can I be to you in the circumstance? If you cared to listen to me, I could restore calm in the Punjab even from here. One thousand lost their lives of course, but it was not like brave men. The more is the pity. What a difference it would have made if they had bravely offered themselves as a non-violent, willing sacrifice. Oppose with Ahimsa if you can but go down fighting by all means if you have not the nonviolence of the brave. Do not turn cowards. "
4) When asked to clarify his advice to whether Sindhi Hindus should migrate in the event of partition, he said-
"I said that you should suffer bravely, but non-violently unto death. But if you cannot do that and must make a disgraceful surrender of all including honour, your womenfolk and religion, in that case, the only safe and proper course for you to take is migration, not singly, but of all the Hindus and other non-Muslims."
5) He criticised refugees fleeing the Pakistani jihad, and told them to go back and die:
“I am grieved to learn that people are running away from the West Punjab and I am told that Lahore is being evacuated by the non-Muslims. I must say that this is what it should not be. If you think Lahore is dead or is dying, do not run away from it, but die with what you think is the dying Lahore.”
