What a lovely property! Once I was amazed to be replacing a feeder and one landed on my finger! I stood very still til it left. So exciting. One tried to feed from a flower on my shirt once - so cute!

What big boots the Golden-Breasted Puffleg has. And that Great Sapphirewing was incredible. Wow! hand feeding a hummingbird with a flower blossom, wow.

I personally have never seen it, but from the looks of its photos, I think it’s one of the most spectacular hummingbirds on account of it looking like a miniature phoenix. If you get the chance to encounter it, please do share your experience with us
