I would love to see your process of an interior detail. What order do you clean everything in? We would love to be as efficient as you guys. Any way we could get a video on this? Thanks in advance!
We have noticed that we create more work for ourselves with compressed air. When do you blow everything out? A video would be great on this! I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see this!
Thanks so much for what you do, so much good information on your channel! I wish so much that I could afford this setup, I paid about 800 for our mytee, but it is a pain for all the reasons you mentioned. Might at least get that nozzle though, sounds awesome!
Any update on that extractor head setup? Looks much better than the traditional one that throws water everywhere lol
There is a certain peace of mind you get when you drive a clean car‼️
Definitely agree to use the sapphire scientific tool for seats due to foam backing. Use regular wand on carpets due to no backing.
I really agree with all your marketing and business advice but theres some things with the technical side i dont get. I will usually get everything dusted and vacuumed, start shampoo front to back so whatever gets oversprayed from the front seat into the back is going to get extracted anyways. Ive got the 8070 mytee and it appears to have the same spray strength as what i saw in this video. I just use the spray directly on the seat, same way i would as if i had a pump sprayer, pre treating a seat, drill brush it and suck it out all out, obviously repeat for problem areas. Hope this helps someone as thats a ton of money for that style of extractor head. Just my opinion, Best of luck guys!
Would it be a good idea to replace the generator for a high output power inverter? You can put it under the driver seat run a power cord to the back of the van (plug n play). Now you have space for the mytee hose reel.
That's how i run my picker truck. Inverter bolted to the cabinet for close power needs and i keep a generator on the deck in case i need to run a long power cord up in a Genie lift for father away power needs.
Trust me a commercial extractor is %1000 times better than anything else, I was lucky to be able to purchase one used with a van setup
It is but if someone is just starting, they can make it work with something more affordable
You should make a video solely on the wand how to wire it up to hp 60 spyider with correct adapters where to purchase from
8:11 Thats happening because your loosing suction power due to using the longer hose. You want to use a long hose, you need a more powerful extractor. There’s also this upholstery tool by Mytee that works great.
You know i thought about this exact point myself. I wonder how much suction loss there is when compared between the stock length hose and the longer one?
You definitely lose suction but doesn't matter because we would rather loose some and have a longer hose
Did you look at, or try, the Mytee Dry Upholstery Tool? They look and seem to work very similarly, but the Mytee is less then half the price.
I wasn't a fan of the dial. We preferred a trigger
So funny. People lost their shit over 2k. I manage a SMALL restaurant and equipment spending is fucking ridiculous. 1 espresso machine is 6-12k, frozen drink machines are 6-12k, Rationales are 25k, flat tops average 2k-3.5k, charbroilers are an easy 2k, friers are 1200 all day, reach-ins fridges are 1200-4k and you have to buy MULTIPLE. Not to mention that it’s always breaking and maintenance is astronomical.
Detailer’s cry all day about what they spend on equipment, but forget that overhead for this business is fuckin pennies.
Awesome vid, btw
Yup! Really good point. Even in commercial/residential carpet cleaning, a truck mount alone can run between $25K to $40K. This industry, like barbers, does not take much to start or grow
practically, longer hose...less suction power...unless the manufacturer guarantees that you wont lose much power
you'll always lose power on a longer hose
Nice bro stoked on your upgrade have you heard of steam extraction desario
Bro you did good. Time is money and if it helps you expedite your work? You're good bro.
What made you get this one over something like a 8070?
Is the difference overkill? Or you think its well worth it?
I explain it in a previous video 👌🏽
Does your small predator Gen will power that ???
Hey, do you have the link to the course you were launching? Interested in joining it. Thanks!
What chemicals do you mix with the extractor water?
What is the hose called what model is it does mytee make it? The one you said that cost 700$
I cleaned this person's carpets and they were mad I couldn't get all the stains out though I had a heated extractor, following Oscar's tip from another video I told them it's not going to come out perfect, they were furious though their carpets were clean.... ish. I don't see how their car could be filthy but they want just their carpets cleaned
We need a link to where to get that wand.
Following! Link to new wand?
You spent $2700 on a extractor alone? You could have bought the deluxe for that price
might as well get a truck mount
Video on post detailing please!!!
Is the aqua vac pro worth it for beginners..?
100% yes
@@DetailGroove thanks bro appreciate it I’ve been looking into buying one for a while now
Best extractors ever

The mytee 8070 is 1150 bucks heated and all been waiting 4 monthes for my unit to ship smh
How did you get that wand to work with the mytee?
Please answer!?!?!?!?
Detail groove making big moves !
Hey detail groove if I move out to your area can you add me to your team? I got my own shop here in toronto and trying to move somewhere warm for winter @detailgroove Lemme know
That's what she said 😂😂
Damm man should of bought my fortador for $5500
I told you years ago and you swore left and right that an extractor wasn't needed
Hi i recently purchased the hose and I realized I need an adapter to fit the my tee do you have a reference per number for the hose adapter?
I hope to be like dis soon ! What’s a good extractor for a beginner bro ???! Anyone ??
you can make your own extractor for less then 500$ lol
I mean... go for it
Bro u making big deal out of evert relax man it’s only extractor u acting like y save someone life Jesus

“Oh he’s using a $2700 extractor just take my money”🤣🤣🤣. (I had to make this joke since last time your video was talking about how you should not expect to be paid more based on your equipment)
One contractor could build a deck with a hand saw and a hammer, it’s just going to take a while and there’s lots of opportunity for mistakes - another contractor can build the same deck in half a day because he bought the power tools that allow him to work faster and more accurately.
Which contractor is going to be worth paying the higher rate?
@@ferfzero4333 that is true, so if the equipment does make the job faster then in the long run it might be a worthy investment but you have to be smart about it
This guy deserves so much more subs. These problems he covers are ones you’d think only you have experienced but its so nice to see that other mobile detailers have some problems as eachother and we can work together
Thanks for the kind words Darren 🙏🏽
Haha he didn’t really spend that much 🤪🤪
JK. I did it on purpose after watching the first 20 seconds of the video.
Hahaha 😅
Might be too big for being mobile
Perhaps, but this machine can generate more money than other extractors. I use my mytee for both auto detailing & residential carpet/sofa cleaning
Hey man wondering if you can make a video of what y’all do after a detail. Clean up. What you do with your towels and how to wash and clean them and brushes
I've been getting these requests. We don't do anything special lol. Fill up bottles, refill tanks, anndddd that's it
Good call been lugging my spyder in and out. That attachment looks similar to the mytee dry just without the bottom end suction. I honestly hardly use it on super soiled stuff the regular attachment works a little faster
Much respect Oscar! Appreciate the perspective. I’ve been detailing 12 years will be dropping videos eventually. I love the mytee extractor! I paid for the $1200 heated one, been using on customers vehicles for 2 years straight still going strong. I do not regret it. Keep it up!!
Would you mind sharing which model do you use?
Chris Yacab I’m guessing his price would mean he bought the 8070
"Thats what she said" hahahha
For the price of that attachment you could’ve bought the mytee s300h
A professional extractor is night and day compared to a bisel. This is proper cleaning.
Bissell pro is trash, i use it and it’s mid
i agree im tired of the damn bissel just not good ENOUGH!
What’s wrong with the Bisel pro
@@JoseTorres-rl3rz mine broke at the handle after tons of use. I bought a mytee 8070 heated extractor for almost 1400$ bucks. Night and day difference to use a professional machine
Last time I did squats, I farted and fell down
Lmfao
😆😆😆
I really love how excited you are about your operations.
Hey bro I heard the Sapphire Scientific hand tool you have here isn't recommended for anything less than 200PSI. How does it work with your Spyder which is only 120PSI?
can you hook up the 15ft $600+ hose directly to the mytee extractor?
Mytee Cheap Do not buy it , buy bissell
huh
one of your clients said you cut corners a lot he wrote it on detailer forum
Dang
He's a troll lol
I seen brand new car detail mytess for 1300 with 4 tank recovery and solution with the hose, solution hose and upholstery tools.
Bro you’re so great, I think a good point to hit is that things always change and are always temporary.. starting with bad to then get to the good and then the hard work is the rest! I’m super curious though, how can a smaller detailer/beginner get by better during the bad weather seasons?
Can you send a link to the hoses as well to attach to this? Thanks!
Its nuts that they charge $700 for a wand whip. It just seems SO outrageously ridiculous. Makes me not want to get a Mytee just because I'd never stomach a $700 wand whip
Mytee has one for $400. This is a different brand. Also, this is the cost of running a business.
When you doin squatting like that with weights ????
I agree what was said! It’s a pain in the a$$ to take down my mytee from my van, hose extensions are a must, use a hose reel to help organize and put away things faster
You spent 2700 beacuse of time saving
Just the fact that you don't have to empty it out every 4 passes is a godsend on its own
Why don't you use the Tornador?
They do.
Steer clear of mytee they have gone to shit
Would love to see how it fits onto a reel, imagining it pull and retract....man...
U still haven't answered my question.
What was the question
Can u hook up the Sapphire Scientific Upholstery Pro Hand Tool 2 any mytee extractor or other brands?
Or the Aqua Pro Vac?
@@DetailGroove Or the Aqua Pro Vac?
?
@@DetailGroove can u answer my question?
You guys going to keep running city water? or you gonna look into a softer water system?
We have DI water
do you like the mytee dry gt tool
What can we cut? I love it dude!!! I work as an automotive tech so I’m very used to efficiency being key. I like to detail cars, couches, etc on my free time. Great channel! Thanks you.
8:08 You dog!! 😉🖐
anyone in detailing business do not buy mytee 8070 model cant say anything good about it, get a steamer instead with extraction capabilities. waste of money heating element broke, vapor locking mode pof. Just garbage
What can we cut? I love it dude!!! I work as an automotive tech so I’m very used to efficiency being key. I like to detail cars, couches, etc on my free time. Great channel! Thanks you.
Why didnt you buy the one from mytee whats the difference
I cover that in a recent video 👌🏽
Bro, not sure if you have noticed but wherever you got your shirts from for your business has very poor placement on your logo. Looks like it should be 2 inches more to the right to be centered as "pocket" placement on the tee.
Thanks but stuff like this to me are such a minor and insignificant thing to worry about
@@DetailGroove I hear you, to each their own brother. Just bugged me so I mentioned it, it’s one of those things where you are paying money for a service (expectations are different for all) but if you are happy with it, at the end of the day that’s all that matters really. I appreciate you taking the time to reply, keep up the great work on the videos.
Jesus I swear everyone on the comment section is a armchair Quarterback. I bet you 99% of the commenters don't even have a detail business lol
This is the second time I watch the video and I didn’t catch the bisel comment at the beginning 🤣 I have a bisel and still use it but I upgraded to the aqua pro but hope to one day spend the 1200 to make a bigger impact on my job and my clients
BRO IV BEEN WAITING FOR 4 MONTHS FOR MYTEE TO SHIP MY UNIT IF YOUR UNIT NEEDS PARTS YOUR SCREWED ITS DOWN FOR MONTHES AGAIN BECAUSE MYTEE DOESNT HAVE PARTS I DEEPLY REGRET GOING MYTEE
where can we find out what products you bought? I'd like to know more about the wand and the longer hose. thank you.
Oscar....good video...I am in the process of deciding on a carpet extractor....This video was much help
Thank you for all the extremely valuable info and knowledge. God Bless you brother!
$2700 AUD will net you a matter 8070 and an upholstery attachment. Can't wait for the new models to be available here. Thanks for the video, interiors are my jam.
I’m thinking I want a more powerful shop vac. I have the typical rigid we all use but to be faster, I want a better vacuum.
Any recommendations?
that's the one we use lol
At the end of the day a huge part of it is the carpet and not always just the vaccum.
@@zezzer9848 I hear ya but on the rare occasion I use the vac at the car wash it’s so much faster.
@@sikkinixxmcyeah they got big machines tho haha
@@zezzer9848 I know lol
How many times are you dumping and refilling on average per car?
How much time do you think it will take to make that expense worthwhile? Will this new addition make you $3k better or faster with results or is it because you treated yourself and your business?
Its already paid off with the first vehicle
@@DetailGroove how
@@DetailGroove charged an upwards of 3 grand for the detail
Lol here I am watching these vids, bought a hp60 Spyder for home use and love it. It makes me no money but cleaning messes from my old dogs and two toddlers is now a virtual joy instead of an exercise in futility. Worth the price of admission for anyone.
A well detailed interior can add thousands of dollars to a used car’s value if you are going to sell- but even just doing quick details at $200 you have your machine paid off in a couple weeks without breaking your back.
Cool thing about the 2008CS you can clean residential carpet jobs with the same equipment.
If you hustle- you can get $1000+ from one customer in a few hours if you clean a couple rooms carpet’s and do an interior car detail in the same trip.
How did you set up you were extractor hose on a hose reel with the solution line?
Your squat game strong bro! You go running?
Thanks! Right now, not really
why don't you buy a cargo van? they are really cheap now.
We will
