    Definitely agree to use the sapphire scientific tool for seats due to foam backing. Use regular wand on carpets due to no backing.

  • @louisgarofalo3355
    @louisgarofalo3355 2 года назад +1

    I really agree with all your marketing and business advice but theres some things with the technical side i dont get. I will usually get everything dusted and vacuumed, start shampoo front to back so whatever gets oversprayed from the front seat into the back is going to get extracted anyways. Ive got the 8070 mytee and it appears to have the same spray strength as what i saw in this video. I just use the spray directly on the seat, same way i would as if i had a pump sprayer, pre treating a seat, drill brush it and suck it out all out, obviously repeat for problem areas. Hope this helps someone as thats a ton of money for that style of extractor head. Just my opinion, Best of luck guys!

    Would it be a good idea to replace the generator for a high output power inverter? You can put it under the driver seat run a power cord to the back of the van (plug n play). Now you have space for the mytee hose reel.

    • @simcptmike
      @simcptmike 3 года назад +1

      That's how i run my picker truck. Inverter bolted to the cabinet for close power needs and i keep a generator on the deck in case i need to run a long power cord up in a Genie lift for father away power needs.

    8:11 Thats happening because your loosing suction power due to using the longer hose. You want to use a long hose, you need a more powerful extractor. There’s also this upholstery tool by Mytee that works great.

    • @simcptmike
      @simcptmike 3 года назад +1

      You know i thought about this exact point myself. I wonder how much suction loss there is when compared between the stock length hose and the longer one?

    So funny. People lost their shit over 2k. I manage a SMALL restaurant and equipment spending is fucking ridiculous. 1 espresso machine is 6-12k, frozen drink machines are 6-12k, Rationales are 25k, flat tops average 2k-3.5k, charbroilers are an easy 2k, friers are 1200 all day, reach-ins fridges are 1200-4k and you have to buy MULTIPLE. Not to mention that it’s always breaking and maintenance is astronomical.
    Detailer’s cry all day about what they spend on equipment, but forget that overhead for this business is fuckin pennies.

      Lol here I am watching these vids, bought a hp60 Spyder for home use and love it. It makes me no money but cleaning messes from my old dogs and two toddlers is now a virtual joy instead of an exercise in futility. Worth the price of admission for anyone.

      A well detailed interior can add thousands of dollars to a used car’s value if you are going to sell- but even just doing quick details at $200 you have your machine paid off in a couple weeks without breaking your back.
      Cool thing about the 2008CS you can clean residential carpet jobs with the same equipment.
      If you hustle- you can get $1000+ from one customer in a few hours if you clean a couple rooms carpet’s and do an interior car detail in the same trip.
