He poked that carpet incorrect he did not tilt back he did not lower as he enter warehouse he did not use horn he did not lower the boon use horn as he began to exit he all things being unloaded or loaded should be kept as low to the ground while moving forward or in reverse as possible a maximum of "5-1/2 this lowers the point of center of gravity a fork lift center if gravity is set up like a reverse triangle with a dot in the middle the higher the lift with a load the more the dot moves to the front of the triangle making it in stable the lower the lift moves the dot towards the rear where two points are creating more control in movement or transporting from point A to point B :-)
What video did you watch? The pole was level on entry and full tilted back once the carpet was on the pole. It has to be 4 foot off the ground or so because of upward angle entering building. It would take you all day to unload a truck. Stable? how is the roll coming off the pole?
Back when I was 18 someone challenged me to lift a 150ft roll. I got it half off the shelf before my knees started giving out. Messed up my back pretty bad for a few days lesson learned

Must be a heck of a counter weight on the back of that lift. Big store!
1000lbs not too bad where I work I’m moving around 2500lb rolls
I know this place! Floor store in Louisville? Used to back a 45' trailer in that lot. Good people there.
@redneckresponder
What is the name of the machine and attachment?
Pretty common 🤷🏼♂️
Hi Mate, good video, I would like to know where you can buy something like that to poke in carpet in order to grab it out of container? thnx
we have racks for our carpet don't they get crushed ?
Yeah, they can get crushed, but they probably get it out to make cuts so often it never gets creased permanently.
Why is the lift truck operator allowed to drive with the pole in the air?
Nice manoeuvering.
For people in the First World, 1,000 pounds = 450kgs.
