Such great advice. Passive income seems to be one of the few ways to sustain as a creative person today (in order to maximize your energy and time). Love your channel. I always learn so much from it.

The advice of the elite to the poor is never to unionize, never try to change things: it's always "just work harder." No exceptions to be found.

Very important and well-conveyed advice. We all need to keep the wolves at bay somehow.

Capital is necessary to have in order to live in this world. But it’s not my main focus. I don’t care about the fancy car, the big house, the riches. I just want something I created to transcend me. To be something that inspires a generation of kids to write just like George Lucas’ Star Wars did for me, just like Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead did for me, just like the many movies and tv shows I grew up with. The imagination in me never left from when I was a kid. I’m not even 25 and I’m still trying to navigate through life the best I can. I recently rediscovered my love for writing after selling my soul to a life of 9 to 5s and depression. The passion in me is back and I’m not gonna stop working my ass off until I’ve shaped something beautiful.

Told a work colleague a couple weeks back - no way leaving my job for my passion of writing unless BIG money. Video I'd watched (scriptfella) warned never come Hollywood without cash or no alternate job. The US in the midst of the 2023 writers strike puts any sane writer on guard.

Writers shouldn’t just be writers. Have to be a producer , Director or actor. Writers create the jobs but has least of the day when it comes to getting things made.

Very much so. I'm sure producer cropped up in my head, but focused on if my name gets big enough have a production company and hire a few writers to develop my numerous ideas then work out some production deals. I myself keep writing.

Thank you for the suggestion of this video series. it's very good at addressing every question I have. It even answers my thoughts yet to be formed into questions.

As a physician someone told me something similar “your second job is managing the money you make so that it works for you”
