It isn't a good comparison. Gen was just chilling in ring looking down on players and he was given all the cheats. Meanwhile Hal was midfight and destroyer kept toggling the hacks on and off. Also, DZ didn't have much to lose compared to TSM. Match had to be restarted regardless and it was the right move to just cancel the regional finals. If they can't fix this issue, they just need to play the regional finals offline while keeping the time and date only among those competing.

It likely would’ve happened either way but had Hal quit and they played as a duo they honestly still might have counted this game. I think the only fair thing to do would be to restart the entire tourney. And the worst part is the competitive integrity of the entire split has now disappeared. And just think what some teams are doing in challenger circuit where there isn’t as much scrutiny especially in early rounds. The fact that these cheats are even possible brings up the likelihood that other pros may at some point in time used these in competitive setting as well. Those who don’t stream etc. This isn’t a problem that will be fixed quickly either so idk what the future of apex looks like but it’s not looking great right now.

Both players did the correct move. Gen got hacked first , situation was chaotic ,the only way for him was to quit the game as soon as possible. However when Hal got hacked , people realized there was really someone sabotaging ,best way for Hal is forced admin to end the game and he did it.There is no need to hate on Hal.

As a player on an Asian server, I can only express my delight in witnessing this scene. EA seems solely focused on selling skins to make money, completely disregarding the rights and experiences of basic players. On our server, when climbing the ranked ladder to gold or above, the probability of encountering cheaters is roughly 75%, and reporting them is essentially futile. I hope they will address this issue seriously this time.
That's crazy, I hope they do something about cheaters and hackers. I was playing a match and mid match I couldn't swap weapons or pick up items from deathboxes. Like whenever I pressed x to pick up something it closed out the menu every time instantly

I have been playing since launch, stopped at season 1 due to hackers, rejoin on the end of season 3. I have witnessed so many different kind of hacks in this game, which is absolutely insane and funny at the same time. TBH this shit looks hilarious as hell, makes respawn looks like total clown ngl.

Both players did the correct move. Gen got hacked first , situation was chaotic ,the only way for him was to quit the game as soon as possible. However when Hal got hacked , people realized there was really someone sabotaging ,best way for Hal is forced admin to end the game and he did it.There is no need to hate on Hal.

@@liandopus9922You know when some programs ask for Administrator Privileges? Of course, usually you trust the developer to not do any bad shit but you essentially are giving it permission to do whatever the program wants in your computer.
What people think is that maybe there's an exploit in Easy Anti Cheat (which asks for that permission when you start the game) or Apex itself that would allow an attacker to execute anything they want within a target computer.

As a player on an Asian server, I can only express my delight in witnessing this scene. EA seems solely focused on selling skins to make money, completely disregarding the rights and experiences of basic players. On our server, when climbing the ranked ladder to gold or above, the probability of encountering cheaters is roughly 75%, and reporting them is essentially futile. I hope they will address this issue seriously this time.
That's crazy, I hope they do something about cheaters and hackers. I was playing a match and mid match I couldn't swap weapons or pick up items from deathboxes. Like whenever I pressed x to pick up something it closed out the menu every time instantly

for Genburten, its not only wallhack but also aimbot. at 0:48 his arrows didnt knockdown the bloodhound behind the wall but other bloodhound (Zap from E8) across the beach.
holy shit. you're right. and on the first shot he fires on the bloodhound, which we know he hit cause his damage went up and evo upgraded, he did not get a hitmarker on the blood that was on his screen at all
The biggest problem here is the HACKING. Like how? It looked like a team viewer program, hacker literally opening freaking windows man. That is scary.
Sadly this could be the end of comp Apex. EA easily could just let the game die at this point if they can't address the cheating issue, then cheaters will continue running rampant in ranked lobbies and no one will want to play anymore.

I have been playing since launch, stopped at season 1 due to hackers, rejoin on the end of season 3. I have witnessed so many different kind of hacks in this game, which is absolutely insane and funny at the same time. TBH this shit looks hilarious as hell, makes respawn looks like total clown ngl.
