No. China has more than 50,000 years of history. Not only China but every single major country has over 50,000 years of history (proven by archaeological remains). Its just not recorded thats all. Because there was no writing system that far back.
Generally speaking, when people say Country ABC has X years of history, its X years of RECORDED history, whether it is in pictures or in writing. Chinas earliest recording goes back to oracle bones dating back to 1200 BC. Thats only 3200 years ago.

For all who wish to wear the hanfu, please remember that the traditional clothing is a serious part of Chinese culture. Please make sure you are wearing them not just because they look pretty but also in consideration towards the history and the meaning of these clothings. There’s nothing wrong with wearing another culture’s traditional clothing, but just please keep in mind that they’re not pretty costumes or cosplay outfits, but meaningful pieces of history. There shouldn't be any complications with wearing any kind of clothing, i agree with you. I just think that there should be a level of appreciation towards them :)

@@intasarbatool4577 you can just google it :) I can also tell you a little bit about it. Hanfu is a traditional piece of clothing in chinese history that goes like.... WAYYYYYY back ( a thousand years or so?) different sleeves and patterns of the hanfu represent different things like social class and personality. the big sleeves and many many many layers are for higher class while the cotton and normal sleeved ones are for the common class and etc. theres a lot more history in between the creation of it and modern days, but theres a reason why the hanfu kinda disappeared for a while before we are bringing them back in the 21 century. after the han dynasty, china went through a lot of troubles of getting a new emperor. long story short, china ended banning it cuz it represented the han dynasty and the country wanted to "move on." now in the 21 century, we want to bring it back because we now have the freedom to wear whatever we want and theres also the whole attention for traditional culture. hope this helps a bit, but tbh i havent even scratched the surface. :))

Let’s be honest, South Korea is merely a vessel state of China for hundred of years. Chinese character has a long history of development, and been a major part of Korean history. As a powerful country in the past, China has exerted huge influence on Korean in term of culture, language and religion. Not only that Korean used to speak in Chinese and still adapted to Confusicianism , their traditional clothes like Hanbok is also influenced by the traditional clothes of both Song Dynasty and Ming dynasties.
Back days Korean even need to send their princess to China as a hostage in order to show their loyalty to China. But now days Korean just misinterpreted it and says thing like “Korean conquer China”. What a pity

hey I was wondering as an girl with german, russian, and norwegian heritage could I wear traditional clothing? When I was five I had a cherry blossom silk dress and loved it. If you mean Chinese traditional clothing, that is not offensive at all, Chinese people like me we do proud of our Hanfu culture. The only thing I think we do mind is to wear Hanfu correctly, as China have a long history so there’s a lot of dressing types which presents different dynasties, and most of them were very complex to wear on, so please wear them correctly if you’re really interested in Hanfu

Sis we are not as sensitive, we are happy if u like to wear out traditional hanfu, there’s many styles so have fun choosing! As long as u give credit and wear it respectfully, there’s no problem at all. Thank you for being interested in our culture.
Ofc you can! But keep in mind there are lots of styles to choose from: from casual hanfu to full historical-accurate hanfu, with fantasy hanfu too.
These pages are pretty instructive if you want to get started in the hanfu fashion: My hanfu favorites (tumblr), Hanfu and whatnot (tumblr) and Torguqin (wordpress). Also, there's a YT channel about hanfu called "Five thousand years".

You can search Alibaba internatianal station, on which maybe you can find them. If i were wrong, you'd better join a facebook Hanfu Group and listening the experience.Many Hanfu are not expensive .Wish you lucky～
There are some affordable hanfus for sale. But you might have to be careful. Hanfu is named one of the three major 'money-pits' in China. Because it's going to be a money sink once you get into it. XD
I don’t know if you can use Alibaba’s 淘宝 Pinyin taobao. If you can use it, you can buy hanfu on Taobao. There are cheap and expensive ones.,you can buy them according to your needs. Of course, the price is directly proportional to the quality of the clothes, and the design will be better and more beautiful.
