We were sent to live in community, & it’s hard. Closing in on 1 year, & have learned so much. HIS heart is learning to love well & love & value community, in all that entails. ❤
😭 This brought so much sobriety. Even more areas that I feel conviction and want to repent to the Lord for. Thank you for speaking to this deceptive pattern of living, that is not from above!! May the Lamb truly receive the reward of His suffering from my life and this community! I want to live all that He paid for. Not my will but His!!
I don’t understand not having a schedule. We have 8 children we are discipling & educating. Rarely, do we ever have “me” time. But, when ministry outside the home overshadows the souls we’re entrusted, even ministry can become an idol. We must be sure to raise Kingdom Kids who are passionate about Their King & building His Kingdom. Too many times, the children get left behind & become wounded & resentful, turning away from The Father because the parents failures to love them well too.
So when we say give the Lord our schedule we mean that we don't live for simple our own ideas but God has our schedule. That of course includes time with our family.
Im a swiss guy but there are similar things over here. Im 27 and until now i was working as a electrician technician, at a certain time they fired me or i went because there was no peace anymore or the Lord would lead me on. Now i dondt have a job and im fasting, im really challanged to cell everything, leave my appartement and live in a tent or where somebody receives me in their home. I know that at some point in life God calls me to leave the normal way to work a job to do the work in the kingdom. I have almost no more money left so that is also a thing to overcome. I also have no community jet that i could join, but i know God can provide all of this. Do i only leave the normal job when i have enough money or do i trust in God to provide for me? Also what to do with mandatory insurances? These are tough questions. On the other hand it says in 1 Thes 4,10-12 And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: you should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. So for now i go after regular job and when a door opens or God speaks to me more clearly about this i prepare my hearth to follow. I also just read Romans chapter 13 where Paul talkes about how followers of Jesus should view the goverment. What you talked about fits only for some people not for all, some just do a regular job in the fear of the Lord and that is a good thing. It is for people who are all about this life on the earth and not the life in Jesus and the heavenly things. In Romans 14 it talks about food, i dont think its right to say we can not eat good food because some missionary have decided to life a lifestyle where they can not have this kind of food. It is their decicion and God will honor that and reward it according to what is in their hearth. When you can eat a good meal be glad and thankfull to God.

Thank you brothers to addressing a critically important topic: Our willingness to live outside of the World's pleasures/memes.
So good brothers! Thank you for bringing this word of truth! 🙏🕊💞
Thank you brother

This topic has been weighing on me heavily since returning back Stateside. Thank you for speaking on this.
Your welcome. Jesus is stirring this

Praying for wisdom for you. We believe in working hard with our hands. Just not living for worldly pursuits but the expansion of Gods kingdom
