Widowspeak - True Blue (Stone Circle Theatre, NYC 1/3/25)

Kicking off the New Year with Widowspeak at the Stone Circle Theatre in Ridgewood. It's actually my first time to this venue and find it really charming. It's inside of a church, pews and all. The pews are pushed off to the side to make room and speakers and lights set up as well.
After having last seen Widowspeak at the rooftop at Elsewhere and getting there late, being way in the back, I'm glad this time was different. I was first on line, and hopefully that sets the precedent for more shows this year. I'm so happy I was able to get a great view, shoot some good footage, and get good sound. After the show Molly and Rob graciously signed my copies of The Jacket and Plum, and allowed me to take a polaroid of the two of them. There are a few new songs included here which I may or may not have the correct title. These are just based off the setlist and listening to the lyrics.
I did love what I heard and am excited for them to start recording in the studio this year and hopefully put out an official release sooner rather than later.
