    LYRICS:
The stars you see in the night sky
    have been dead for centuries
    sunlight creates the illusion
of life for all these years.
Now I no longer trust these eyes of mine
the heart must speak to me
    in tongues of forgotten voices
    in ancient harmonies
    so that I can see…
    Heavens are merely illusions
when you build them high in the sky
and hell is the final solution
for those who have no faith in this life
    they are blinded by lies.
Here in the garden, arcane delights
here in the garden, fountain of life
    is born from the womb.
    Feeling my baby rise
    feeling my minion signs
    and turn the love again.
    She brings the flowers
    to ease the pain
    she brings new light
    where only darkness reigns.
    And the more I see
the more life means to me
and the way you love to be by the sea
can make it love for you and me, yeah
I don’t care what lies beyond this world
all I really care about is you, yeah
and the need with love it seems to sigh
have made, have made this world a better place for you and I, yeah.

Thank you Lisa for the gift of music that you share with us, it touhes a part of our soul...where words can't describe. I remember in one of your interviews you stated there is a place from within that your ideas come unannounced...and that is spot on

Each Dead can Dance song that was previously unknown to me seems to be as beautiful as all their other most beautiful songs. But how can I buy it on a CD?? I deeply wish to listen to it in my car.

This version is live from 2005, when Dead Can Dance was on tour. It’s from a live album titled ‘Selections from North America’, and ‘Live Happenings.’ It never made it onto any of their albums, but rather onto Brendan Perry’s solo album, ‘Ark.’

all the work of DCD is like that. it seems to me all these years we've been listening to them it is rather like that scene where Aphrodite herself is tossing away diamonds as if they are nothing. you get used to such beauty I suppose. hmm.

..All the works of DCDis like that...it's correct, ma but the declination of their tecnical passion are over, and other, if Ican, i think..
