To be fair my musical tastes can best be described as "Yes" (not the band, the affirmative word). Listening to my library on shuffle is an exercise in whiplash. About the only stuff I hate is modern pop-county/hick-hop. I don't enjoy most modern rap, with some exceptions, but I keep trying to.

Y. E. S. I have a best friend (whom is completely obsessed) and i spend most of my time just listening to her rant. I am someone who does not like her music too much (though the occasional song is brilliant) and i completely dislike people who will just hate on an artist because they do not like their music/have never listened to it.

A good therapist will help you! I speak from personal experience. I had always felt guilty about my emotions, and have severe and then-untreated ADHD on top of it, so explaining and even acknowledging my emotions was hard. But she gave me an emotion wheel, helped try to supply words when I couldn't, even pulled out a kids book. Of course not all therapists are like mine, there are many different therapists for many different people, but you should TOTALLY try to find one you click with! It's definitely easier for me now to figure out and explain what I'm feeling to family, friends, and even myself.

Everybody has trouble dealing and speaking their REAL feelings. It took me 4 therapist's before I found one I felt comfortable with. You're not expected to gush and cry on your first visit and if it gets to close to the bone to handle they'll get that and help you slowly get there. It's their job and the vast majority end up being a confidant - more so than any other friend you've tried to talk to. They are not there to "fix" you they are there to help you. It took me 5 yrs after my first one until I found the right one and I ended up realising I'd wasted so much time being nervous and scared of what they'd dig up rather than putting me first. The responsibility and maturity of kris answering these is so refreshing. I’ve never heard someone say that about religion about not knowing what to believe because I’ve been struggling with that because I’m raised by a family with different beliefs than friends or school experience

I'm the oddest of swifties. I don't care for her music. I like a couple songs, maybe cruel summer, maybe blank space. I wrote her off when I first heard her in like 2009. She's worked on her voice a lot, she used to be very nasal and lacked control and power. she's got a nice tone now, with good power and control. Her vibrato still isn't great but I bet in a few years that will change, as she's always working on her craft.
What i love about her is she seems to just be dedicated to making the world better. She's fantastic with her fans. She goes out of her way to be a decent, grounded person. Look at all the money she's given to food banks on the eras tour, look at the huge bonuses she's doled out. Both her parents were stock brokers. She was born into privilege, more than that she's a knock out. How many beautiful people do you know are nice, grounded people? how many people born rich are nice, grounded people who try to make the world a better place?

I identify completely with how Kris describes her sexuality. I look at someone and I find them attractive or not and some of the time it isn't even based on looks. And I don't feel like I need a label. I don't want a label. People nowadays are obsessed with putting themselves in a box sexually and I determine my attraction to someone on a case by case basis.
That's totally valid, though Kris (and your) experience sound a lot like what I experience as a pansexual.
I feel kind of similar- attracted to anyone but it is mostly based off of looks first then if they seem to have a bad personality it will probably ruin it and make me lose interest.
Anyways, I identify as pan and I'm very happy to use this label.
Sometimes a label can be fun to have and bring you a sense of comfort and also help you find your community.

I was on birth control for 6 months when i was 30 and over a year later am still having problems with my eye sight that only started when i was on it and I had a ton of other miserable side effects.

I'd rather be alone for the right reasons than with someone for the wrong reasons. Can't remember the movie but that line stuck with me. Words to live by. Also gave me time to deal with any issues from a breakup so I could start a new relationship without carrying all the baggage from the old. Plus being happy with your own company means you get to share that happiness instead of carrying the need not to be alone into a new relationship.

if you are interested in astrology, look into a full deep dive of your chart. When it comes to coming out, there's no real timeline for people to do it, or that they ever have to. I'm a proud lesbian halfway out of a closet made of glass(those who don't know are blind, and I'm not actively hiding it anymore).
We have two solutions in an ideal world:
1. Everyone has to come out, especially straight people. We all have to do it at some point
2. No one ever comes out. We just normalize saying; "I'm dating this person now", without it putting a defining label on it and just be okey.
But the world ain't ideal, and some can't come out either because it's not safe, family-problems, or simply that they don't fully understand it themselves

Differing opinions is what keeps this world interesting. We don't have to agree with everything, otherwise life would be boring. So long as everyone's respectful of each other and their boundaries, we can agree to disagree like civil human beings and get along.
One of the things I admire most about you, Kris, is the fact that you're single and you don't feel like you have to be in a relationship; you're perfectly comfortable just living your life, doing what you love and you don't need to have a special person for that. If the right person comes along, great! But if not, no big deal. I just don't see why people feel the need to be in a relationship constantly to be happy; I'm the best version of myself through my own journey and that's why I instantly bought your "Content in My Own Company" shirt because it resonated with me a great deal and I live by that very much so.
It's nice to know there are other people out there that are perfectly comfortable just living their life, not feeling existential dread of being alone. Just being comfortable being in your own skin, and whether you meet the right person or not is fine either way. Some people luck out sooner than others, some live the solo life and both are good. Be happy with yourself, and live your life doing what you enjoy.
It’s really great to see these Swifties being nice and understanding about what Kris was saying. I’m the same as Kris, but whenever I mention it on some social media platform I always get torn to shreds by swifties. I don’t hate Taylor but I don’t necessarily see the hype. I think she’s really smart and clearly a successful singer that being said, I don’t mind the odd song from Taylor, but most of the time I’m like Kris and I prefer classic rock.

Pressure to pursue getting married is definitely a family by family thing. My extended family on my dad's side were really pushy about finding a wife and having children. I finally had to set a solid boundary that if they kept pressuring me I just wouldn't talk to them again. All but 1 of them stopped and that 1 now has alzheimers which has made it way more difficult cause they don't remember anything from recent time.
We live in dangerous times when it's a hot take to state a fact, such as "There's hate coming from the church", or, "Zodiac signs are made-up crap". Especially since the former was apparently very, very hard to say out loud for the woman. Also, I think demanding a world where it's, "not okay anymore to stay in the closet", sounds terrifying. I agree saying that star signs are not relevant because people will be like what's your sign when my sign says nothing about me besides for when my birthday is because whatever I have researched about my sign is nothing like me and as soon as I say my sign people just get the wrong idea about me without knowing anything about me

Not liking her music is fine because of the type of music she creates and I respect that (I personally don’t like rap but I’m not parading around saying I hate those artists) but saying you hate someone just because they don’t create a genre you like is extreme. I have an IUD. And have used one for 12 years. I honestly found the one that has helped me with quite a few things. It also kept my "." Gone. I have saved SOOOO much money on feminine products. I love mine. And in a couple years, Ima take it out to start trying to have a baby.
Completely agree. I love mine, it changed my life. Hurt like a bitch though getting it put in but it's one of the best things I've done for myself.

YES!! The religion and LGBTQIA+ are REAL TALK!! I also grew up in a religious household and also just like everyone (men, women, or otherwise). My parents aren’t as accepting about it and we just avoid the issue. Also went to a Christian high school and everytime I asked a question I was made fun of so I just stopped asking and fell out of religion and gave it up altogether. Also LOVE YOUR VIDS!! 🥰🥰

@@bayleeroderer508 I was raised Christian but as I got older I just don’t agree with the people in the religion anymore(im lesbian and not cis) and I don’t agree with how much they try to shove it down my throat but you are completely different from the people I met before. I feel bad for putting all Christians into the “our religion is the only thing that matters box” and “don’t ask questions” or get mad at me and then be like “ we are the most accepting people ever”😅
It’s sad that there are Christian circles out there that don’t encourage questions. As someone who was raised in a Christian home, I went through my own journey of wanting to make sure what I believed was actual truth and thankfully I had amazing people around me that were always eager to answer those hard questions. If anything, even when going down a more rebellious path for a few years the reason I never let my faith in Christ go was I knew it was true because of the research that I did into the historical evidence and soon after recommitted my life to the Lord and haven’t looked back. Jesus provides a peace that surpasses all understanding and transformed my heart to love Him and others more deeply.

As a dude I find being single around peers has a lot of pressure. Couples will ask why you're single and then silently judge you, and guys are just like 'he's gay'. You are seen as abnormal being single. At least that's my experiance. I haven't met the right woman, and I'm a loner, so I'm probably not going to.
Oh im right there with you! Just that im a woman. But I feel the exact same thing. Introvert too, and I have close circle of friends. And my family keeps asking, sooo. You seeing anybody? Yeah, no. It's so hard. Hope we both find the right person one day.
