Sunflowers 41:30 . This song was my introduction to Low. On John Peels’ radio show. I discovered so many fantastic artists through John Peel. He played stuff no-one else did!
i listen to it going to college in the bus, looking at the buildings, i live in a city called maceio, but grew up in the countryside, to this day, low and the big city are still this new world to me, and college and work and runnin around, with this on the headphones, amazing band
This show was one of the best I've been to. But I remember it being in 2009? Back when KRCC actually cared about music and hosted many great shows. I love this song and agree that the live version surpasses the studio one. Intense emotion! The sound envelopes you! Sing along with this one and try to hold the notes as long as Mimi did. It's hard! RIP songbird! 😔
I haven't been following Low since "Songs for a Dead Pilot." Wish this had some of their early stuff. Also, not dissing on Alan, but I wish Mimi sang more of their songs. Just love her voice.
that band is crazy for having this guy to sing lead meanwhile that woman is a way better singer than him! I don't understand why they don't put her as lead singer! really, why???
Go listen to "violence" and "over the ocean" then tell me about how awful they are again. And what kind of music do you like exactly? Bubblegum pop? "This sucks, I mean it doesn't make me wanna dance at all!" Get in touch with your soul, then you can talk about how bad these pioneers of their genre are.
Rest in peace Mimi Parker. With no question you were the heart of Low - you will be thought of often and missed dearly.
I don't know how many times I've watched this over the last few years. It's one of my favorite live recordings ever.

I saw them live almost 2 decades ago and it was absolute fucking magic, one of 5 or 6 shows that I will never forget.
I’m up to 14 times seeing them now. Got three booked for next year. Go and see them again. It’s a wonderful thing.

he did indeed
Just found this. The first song says it all, nothing but heart. Soooooo good.

RIP Mimmi. And thank you. Sad.
The first three minutes alone earned a thumbs up.

Sunflowers is still one of the most evocative songs i know ~
With my half of the ransom....
Thank you KRCC.
this should be more famous because it is so good. that just applies to low too
Any college or venue that booked Low back in the day and then brought them back is super cool in my book.
Yep! Awesome, really liked the vid ! Music is the prime invention of mankind isn't it? I'm so happy to be a musician!
Magic!
I can die happy, having heard everything Low ever did. And that's ok. :)
Love you since the debut album, I Could Live in Hope, 1994( i Think) greetings from Portugal
I think some of these songs sound better live than the album versions.
I got to see this concert thanks to KRCC and it was one of the most fabulous concerts I’ve ever been to!
Playing in Seattle in 10 days with Mono -- very excited to see them.
Beauty gets no better than this.
This was the coolest concert!
Sweet video, thx for posting
Me encanta esta banda en vivo..
Great performance!
Goodbye Mimi. Feel so low now.
I'd have given anything to still be a student when they did this. Floored, completely floored.
I love Pissing (the song that is :)
Muito obrigado!!! Valeu pela ajuda!!!
Abraço aqui do Brasil!!!

tremendo grupo ...!!!!
Gad, Robert Plant, of all people, guided me here. Lovely sounds, beautiful colors. Watercolors.
Laurence Hawks me too.
Yes, violent past from Drums and Guns. Increcible album, by far their best in my opinion. Murderer is another great track from it
They’re all good albums, every single one
Love it
Sweet sunflower

Nice performance
Thanks for that!
Wind forward to '13:47' and see and hear Mimi sing that life is too short..

How much & what influence did Kramer {Shimmy Disc} have on Low ?!
Greg
Thumbs up!!
Drone not drones
Is that a wide panel Princeton? Alan Sparhawk, if you are out there, let us know!
What is the effect pedal that Brother Sparhawk is using, the rectangular non standard shaped one?
There's two shaped that that, it's either his Zvex Super Hard On or Zvex Octane 3.
and the verb as well
If we fast forward to 55.40, the last track begins. Can anyone tell me what its called and which album is it from, please.
John Wantling, Rochdale, UK
Violent Past from Drums and Guns
Alan Sparhawk and Rand Paul...seperated at birth?
that band is crazy for having this guy to sing lead meanwhile that woman is a way better singer than him! I don't understand why they don't put her as lead singer! really, why???
Fair question!
CRAP
Why are u subscribed to girls wearing diapers… that’s fucking disgusting
They are horrible I mean bad
you are horrible. I mean horrible
Don't cover yourself with ridiculous by saying such idiocies in front of everybody... Keep your disgusting bad taste for you and go to bed.
Look who's talking
Listen again ;)
32:10 silver rider, one of my favorites by them
