PKM was one of my guns throughout the first three WZ maps. I even had a 22 kill game with a the PKM/Milano mix. I’m not seeing the UMG as a burst LMG. I pulled a 14 kill dub with that as well. I didn’t see the Stoner either. That LMG remained good until the recoil nerf came.
The best warzone LMG of all time was the UGM-8 with the burst barrel at the launch of Vanguard Season 4. Literally zero recoil and a consistent 2 burst. I dropped my resurgence pr of 33 on Fortunes Keep with this thing, my favorite gun in warzone history
The DG-58 actually had an initial buff during season 3 if I remember correctly, where both it and the kit had a four-shot kill range. Devs removed it from the base gun, but kept it with the kit, probably to keep said kit relevant.

holger 26 is dominating the mid to long range meta, but ive easily out gunned it with ar's like the sva, holger 556, mtz 556 and the bp50, and the mtz 762 still slaps hard againts it
I think the RAPP H deserves a little bit more attention, because it has the fire rate of an SMG, and the damage of a normal LMG. And once you add the incendiary ammo, it will demolish anyone easily. However, it is VERY slow in mobility and reload, but it will win you many fights. Edit: With the right setup, you could give it almost no recoil.
Bruen was not the first DLC gun, and it also had a 200 round drum, pretty sure that was the upper limit until Vanguard where it may have had a 250 round drum.
I wonder how the history of launchers in Warzone have been. I wasn't around during MW19 Warzone time but would people just use the Strela for its fast projectile speed to snipe helis? M79 from Cold War was my go to for Rebirth. fun meme weapon also being able to fire without ADS made it better than the other launchers imo. The MK11 from Vanguard was like the M79 but was able to explode at point blank but had a heavier arc so you had to aim up more for longer shots (M79 in Cold War itself can explode at point blank, but couldn't in Warzone) If I remember correctly, both the MK11 and M79 never got nerfed and I its max damage was 275 so after shooting a nade near someone's feet and you do a quick swap to an SMG and land 1-2 shots to down them. though a direct hit would down someone at full HP and plates. Panzerfaust from Vanguard was a neat option too, not only could you hipfire it and get a straight line, but you could actually get more use out of the Amped perk as you would get a faster reload speed with it instead of just using it for faster weapon swap speed. (I used the M79 more because it felt more satisfying Idk how great launchers are now but I felt really disappointed when the RGL got the JAK Thumper conversion kit and it ended up being bad. I hope Black Ops 6 brings back the M79. Splash Damage on launchers rn feels pathetic and C4 was a menacing lethal until it got hit with nerfs. If launchers had menacing splash damage, it'd make running EOD a reasonable choice (I run it so I am less likely to blow myself up)

Yeah, it was, not as good anymore, but if you use it well, you can get a few decent matches with it (assuming you don’t run into someone with a Superi)

Don’t forget the bren also had a barrel that made it so the gun had no damage drop off so it killed just as quick at 15m as it did at 200
