I remember when it happened and my friend called me in disbelief to confirm since I am a lifelong culer. The funny thing is he had 6 goals that month which doesnt scratch his top 10 most dominant months in the 4 seasons the award had been in existence then. He was the second barca player to win it after neymar. Suarez didn't win it the season prior even the week in which he had a game in which he scored 4 goals and 3 assists in a single game then scored 4 goals 48 hours later and 2 goals 3 days after that. Also ronaldo had only won it twice as at that time too. Which reflects how out of touch the Spanish FA has been for a long time now.
