25:55 Oliveira sees HM's sending his marines for a flank and immediately moves his tanks forward and pounce on HM's undefended tanks. Insane decision making.
It seems to me Time played with more flexible and expanded tactics than hero marine. Instead of following the by-the-book tactic "being outnumber at home while defending? -> hold key points while trying to send a small group out to harass the backline" and trying to be as fast as possible macro-wise and micro-wise, Time won small victories one after one, his strat may be standard but his tactics keep changing and evolving in-game. Sometimes he tried to act like fleeing - fleeing tanks luring heromarine into the sieged tanks, Time chose the correct moment to trick a heromarine with pride and high expectation into choking on that pride. One proof that starcraft is not all about being fast/multitasking well, or some opening tricks like cheesing or unpredictable build order. The fact that he also beat the fastest player reynor or the living fortress maru also complements to that.
Oliveira perhaps cuz of his latency 'handicap', always having to micro in advance likely. When that is removed, he quite possibly was just so happy to play the game at full speed all the time, likely buzzing, and knew that his time had come.
I think he thought he couldn't get the matrix off because of the viking advantage he was facing or maybe he still thinks turrets are good. I've noticed turrets are pretty good in fights against up to 2 tanks and 10 marine but sometimes I feel pressured to drop them when im being shot by vikings because you can drop them further away that it takes to throw matrix. But every time i feel disappointed when i throw turrets and just wished I sacrificed the ravens even if it meant one of them getting shot down before throwing any matrixes or turrets.
Regardless how much the announcers love heromarine personally, I've been watching him play for years and I really don't think he's as good as they claim he is...
I never thought he was anywhere close to the top. There is like Maru, Byun, Cure, Bunny, Clem, Gumiho and then perhaps Heromarine. And then there is now Oliveira among the mix. In terms of potential, Clem and Oliveira are both younger than him and are already better than him, they can go even further. HM has alot of gaps to fill to get to the top.
@@skychaos87 I wouldn't say that Bunny is currently better than HM, neither Gumiho. You've seen HM games against Maru on Katowice? Those were really solid plays, he beat Maru and you couldn't say that was luck or any like that. Even if those weren't best Maru games in IEM it doesn't change much. Last year or so HM actually feels like a proper tier 1 Terran player, definitely not the best but can win against the best and that's huge leap forward.

Wow Oliveira with at super killer instinct!
this series teaches one thing: autoturrets are not worth it and often cost you the game.

He is like almost top tier terran.
I feel like he recently got better.
Definitely can compete with the Koreans. He’s like innovation but without excellent marine splits.

bold ambush combo in game 4
第四局裡的突襲組合拳真是大膽
Oliveira somehow looks like Nobita

李少牛逼哦
牛牛哥哥牛逼
牛子哥威武。
HM choked so hard n game 4,
Stop zooming in and rotating the camera, you're ruining the game OBS. We all know you want more involvement.
hero marine is so f baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
Yet ten times better than you.
I think big gabe did great, he defeated maru definitely not due to luck
But time just had better instinct on when to deliver the killer blow
Top 12 is bad? Also beat maru in their group
@@IncredibleGoliath it was only Time
Not really, but his approach to TvT was definitely not great. Same applies to Clem.
