アメリカ万歳的な戦記モノ映画も冷ややかな目で見られることを恐れて逆に自分達の残虐性を皮肉るシーンを入れなきゃいけない風潮があるから、今日本軍万歳映画を作ると逆に負の部分が印象付けられてイメージダウンしてしまうゾ。
多分それよりも自衛隊が宇宙人やゴジラとバチバチの戦いをする映画の方が見てる側もずっとから気分いいと思う。

元々の構想や概念の研究が対超弩級戦艦及び重巡洋艦を意識していたから耐雷撃、耐浸水防壁、艦対空域戦闘も竣工時には真剣には構想が練られていなかったのが運の尽き。真珠湾で自ら墓穴を掘って船舶や唯、浮かんでいるだけの水上艇は高々度から飛来しての奇襲や予期せぬ空からの遊撃に極めて脆弱なのを合衆国を始めとした世界に報ら示て仕舞った。艦艇の造船技術には敬服するが予算、人員、労力に見合う供給と需要では無かった。
対水雷防御にだけ関して言えば、日本は水中弾効果を発見していたから結構強かったんだけどね。

何よりもヒドイと思うのは海軍が海軍として活動するための要素(他の軍でも同様ですが)補給・兵站と護衛・兵器及び軍需品の整備性と生産性・生存性と救助(兵士の)・情報解析と伝達(反映)・海軍としての存在意義(国民の命と生活を守る)を戦線の無計画な拡大でもって捨ててしまっていたことです。
現場(戦場)で死していった先人の方々に深い哀悼の意を捧げると共に、この様な事例が二度と再現されることがないように願いたいです。
この時代はどこの国でも多かれ少なかれ人命は紙なのが救われないよなぁ。ホント、現在とは考え方が別世界な感じ。この時代が良かったなどとは決して言わないけど、歴史的には凄く面白いなと思う。
