I've had mine for quite a while now and wear it most days. Had plenty of comments on it. It holds great time and looks great. Honestly I get fed up winding up my mechanical watches so this has beenu go too. It has impressed me so much I plan on buying the sand dial watch from Addisdive
Same here here. I wear it daily and it has become my Number 1 watch. The lume impresses and surprises me every time. It's accurate... And its slim due to being Quartz. Same here, don't miss really the mechanical part. Only thing that bugs me is the slightly "sharp" bracelet. And here to I am thinking to buy the steeldive for an upgrade.
It is. But I need longer Secondshands and they need to hit the Marks^^ And less Sharper Edges. But for the PRice. But maybe you add a bit more and Get a Steeldive.
I have 2 of the Addiesdive, I just love them. I modified one with a Seiko vh31 movement. The misaligned second hand is something you have to live with or fix yourself, Aliexpress /Addiesdive wouldn't act on it. The "short hands is a consequence of the Miyota 2115 movements low torque, it needs very low weight of the hands. It's a real bargain for the price!
I might get another one. If i knew how to fix it, i would. I am open for Suggestions. Yeah I heared that the very accurate Miyota 2215 can only handle low weight. Thinking about getting a Steeldive.
@@darioswatchclub8 Yeah, Steeldive is the more premium brother of addiesdive, I really like the Seiko /Tmi Vh31 sweep second. Pity that it doesn't have a date function though, would be perfect for modded divers like the Addiesdive H3-2 and alike. On the one I modified I just added a "dead" date wheel from a scrap sunon movement.
@@bengtmowitz5012 i hope you have a RUclips Channel, so I can see what you did. I am wearing today my Invicta on a Trip to Italy (on a leather strap).... But the Addisdive I took also with me. I really Love a day and date, and a bezel. I use those complications all the time.
Nice review. I have 2 addiesdive sub, one like yours & my other one has a yachtmaster style steel bezel (no lume) but the hands & indices are bright blue lume. It's a nice variation of this sub style You get a lot of watch for your money with these, real bargains. Thanks
I removed and repositioned my second hand, now it hits all the marks pretty consistently! Of course you shouldn't have to do this if the watch was properly QC'd. I own three Addiesdive subs and the other two are perfect. I believe the miyota 2015 in the Addies is the same as Casio 2784 in the Duro. At least they look the same. If you want 4x ticks per second you could install a Sunon SP28 which should be direct fit. It will simulate a 14,400 automatic sweep second movement with 4 ticks per second similar to Seiko VH31. I have the Sunon SP28 in other watches but unfortunately they are not terribly accurate but the sweep seconds is cool.
Love to hear that. I did not remove hands yet. I was thinking about Ordering another One. Or maybe upgrading to a Steeldive Automatic. But I don't mind Quartz and I love how flat it sits on my wrist. I want to smoothen the Edges of the Watch and band.
I have the same Addiesdive Kermit too and I'm loving it, Mine doesn't hit the markers either but I don't care much about that. Been thinking about changing the bracelet though
Yeah the Bracelet is beautifull but Kinda...sharp? I am thinking about getting myself a Steeldive for 60€. Its on Aliexpress for that Price. Tell me if you Swap the Bracelet. I would say Glidelock would be cool, or something that feels better and has at least 4 Micro Adjustments.
@@darioswatchclub8 the steeldive 1953 is very cool, looking forward to getting that one too. I like the bracelet on this one too but it's either too tight or too loose.
For a moment there I thought it was a Casio Marlin. Great watch and looks good on your wrist, which is the same size as mine, or thereabouts… thanks for this video!
I own a few Invictas and not one of them has any sharp edges, must be your smooth girly hands/fingers that are really sensitive. I did buy a Pagani GMT once and that thing could cut you diamonds.🤣.
Well I am an Comic Artist, Painter and Musician. I do workout and Box too... But I would say I am sensitive. But Yeah the Invicta has some sharp edges.
