i came all the way from san diego to ride this and timber terror. last thursday. not gonna lie, i wept a bit when we pulled up because silverwood has been on my bucket list since i first saw photos on the internet over 20 years ago. ive literally had dreams about this place and woke up disappointed . it truly was a dream come true for me. big props to the ride ops who did their jobs so well. i LOVED the way they checked the restrains. a token tap on the bar and and a tug to ensure the seatbelt was buckled regardless of how loose i had it, and this paid off . that launch into the first drop is nice in the back seat. you can feel the wheels leave the track. and land with a CLUNK. thanks to those ride ops my narrow ass didnt hit the seat til the bottom, and it left the seat imediately after we went through the gift shop.my fiance preferred it to timber terror. lol she didnt know that "headchoppers" are an illusion and when we went into that first tunnel she grabbed my arms to pull them out of "harms way" lol. i dont have a previous experience to compare it to, but it RIPPED through the steel part of the course without compromising any of the wooden coaster purity. if i can i will most certainly come back without hesitation. hell, i might spend what it costs to fly to spokane just to visit again.
