I have been team Dany for 5 years now based on her acoustic midnight shows and of coarse her ability to connect with her fans and her absolute fearlessness on being goofy :)

It WAS midnight. And you felt the intimacy of her singing and her personality in a way that made a true difference because SHE shone through.
Being a guitar player and singer I am always amazed when I see Dany doing these midnight shows sitting cross-legged and still nailing it with her playing and vocals. The power she has sitting like that and singing is just mind-boggling. I feel the same as you, her voice is unique and I could listen to her singing and playing for hours. All three of these young women are special.
Dany is the real automatic sun. It's impossible not to smile watching her, no mater what she's doing.
She's amazing and so expressive in every performance.
When she does these things you are immediately in the same room. Not many people can pull that off so effortlessly, but she does it every time. No wonder the fans love them so much. Pau and Ale have a slightly different version of this same ability, but Dany’s is off the map.
the girls did a lot of these type videos before they got so busy lately... Dany day, Pau day and Ale day !!! Pau did a great one in a karaoke joint with her sisters backing her up ... golden ! you get the know the girls and really see their individual personalities.
I sometimes forget how expressive Danny is with her voice.
I highly doubt there is anyone else more wholesome, sweet, charming, genuine, and ego-less than Dany. ❤ Same can be said for Pau and Ale, as well.
I can listen to Dany sing all day…. I HAVE listened to Dany sing all day. Beyond all her midnight shows there are a bunch of hour-long Dany-day lives, many where she sings anything and everything & I’ll put them on & the day just flys by. & yes, her voice is magical & her personality is intoxicating (an Automatic Sun) & it’s the emotion that makes it so. I say this all the time in regards to Pau but it’s the same with Dany. All those Mariah types with their endless runs & dog-whistle ranges are all about showcasing themselves & their skills. When the Villarreal sisters do these videos it’s all about showcasing the song, the lyrics & more importantly the feeling & emotion behind them. It’s the difference between a performer & an artist.
She flat out loves to sing. Her sisters get annoyed because she is constantly singing. She has been criticized a bit because in the band she never do gs on her head voice. Mild criticism,but still a knock at her. This new album she shows she can, and does a great job of sliding into her head voice.

I watch the video on YT with Amy Lee and Lizzy Hale singing Break in. This wishful thinking, but I would like to see Amy, Lizzy and Dany play this song during their Canadian leg of the tour when they tour with Evanescence and Halestorm.
Yeah I've definitely thought the same thing. In fact was my second thought when the tour was announced, right after "I wonder if there's a chance of it getting extended to the states."

I’ve said it before, but it sure is a shame we don’t get any of these midnight shows anymore. The first song it’s just Danny pouring herself out and she’s just so great at it. The second song is in what I call her musical theater voice, which is just pretty what more can you say about it, these were special times
yes we all miss the midnite shows, but we still have them and, for sure, they don't get old,,one of the few good things from the covid years..
People truly underestimate how difficult it is to move people by just singing and playing an acoustic guitar, all while recording yourself using only an iPhone, with no artifices whatsoever.

Some of the greatest music that we no longer get to watch are these Dany Day midnight sessions...miss them so much, though have saved every single one on my Warning Playlist...love her, so sweet, humble, funny and freaking talented.. Love all the ladies. Thanks Zack, there are a lot of these wonderful performances with Dany.

Yes, it was late. When she said her sisters were waiting for her that was the truth. They shared a bedroom in the family home. And yes, we all could listen to her sing ALL day.
The context for these midnight concerts matters too. I live in the same time zone she does so it was midnight. The height of the pandemic. Living alone, dim lights, (boop) (Dany IG) She was like that old friend that was checking in to see how you are. Talking and singing. While I think she loves performing... It was mostly for us out there somewhere.

If you want to see some more entertaining lives of them in their practice studio, they videos of them trying to teach each other how to play their instruments. There's a video of Pau teaching Ale how to play the drums. There's one where Dany is teaching Pau how to play guitar. There's also one where Ale is teaching Dany the bass. They are all fun and entertaining to watch.
Dany did do a late live like this one at one point for a friend that she lost, and she let her emotion take over at one point, it was very touching. (It’s still out there somewhere but I do not have the link)

Now your getting somewhere Zack. These low key videos from them are where you really start to know them. They all have these individual videos to watch, and they have them paired up, or all three. If you get a chance or if someone would suggest this on the proper channels.....Please Check out the 11/21/22 Chom 97 Radio show with Dany on her beautiful Fender acoustisonic, and Pau on the keyboard. It's an hour long, and they managed to melt a glacier that night. Ale was sick and couldn't go on. Instead of cancelling, they changed up this private invite only show, last minute, total impromptu session!! It was in 2022 when they toured with 3 days Grace and Canada abused their immune systems once again. There is a couple different angles taken of it, both are worthy.

She has a great voice …exceptional. I haven’t heard halestorm, but I’ll stick with one 💯 .emotional and raw. Dany and her sisters will be legends. I will disagree regarding her range… she’s exceptional. You reduced her abilities just like that and she does it all while singing in her second language. Studio versions of music are often times flawless. Dany does it live. She’s not afraid to put it out there and she delivers all the time. I’ve seen great singers sound terrible live…. So they don’t tour frequently… unlike TheWarning. The versatility of her her voice transcends across the music genre spectrum. I think I’m done brother 👋🏽👋🏽
