YSL M7 Fragrance Review (2002)

This is a very special fragrance in my journey, and I did tell the story in the review. can't thank you enough Swadhin Bhai for lending me this precious fragrance, means a lot. check it out, there is another fragrance which is called M7 Fresh, if i find it I'll review that as well.

Wonderful that you have a bottle of the vintage brother. I have to newer release of M7 and once I got it I immediately when out and bought a back-up bottle...never want it to not be in my collection. I also picked up M7 Od but the regular M7 is my favorite of the two.

The original M7 would never shine without the rosemary note, the synthetic oud note in there is actually perfect and when i say synthetic it doesn't smell synthetic it's not your typical indian or cambodi oud note or agarwood that you smell these days in modern niche fragrances it's more watered down and welcoming oud note, but underdog note will always be the rosemary, that syrup scent in there is beautiful too, just a well made masterpiece and YSL could rerelease it tomorrow if they wanted it's just a middle finger to Tom Ford, would i compare it to anything else in the market today ? Absolutely not, neither would i compare the discontinued Versace man cologne to anything else, as for the Gucci Pour homme you mentioned i still have it and i will pick the Bentley over it it's less sweet plus it'll help me keep my Gucci on the shelf, and in the air they are exactly the same, if they brought back all those discontinued fragrances i mentioned they wouldn't sell, the current market consumer wouldn't find them attractive, the current market jump on a hype boat and something safe, and most of the hyped up fragrances these days are "Safe" nothing challenging or daring, or reflect an individual's personality, yay br540 yay suavage, you go back in time and every individual buys what they think suits them even if the seller tried to push a certain fragrance for them to buy they wouldn't for fall that, majority of men back then didn't have internet or social media, or someone online to hype a fragrance for their insecurities, these days i read ridiculous excuses like to boost my confidence, what kind of a man with cojones say shit like that ? the future is filled with insecure flamming flamingo snowflakes, those fragrances will get discontinued as soon as they get released with the mindset and approach to fragrances we have these, they still sell Mauboussin homme yet you get cotton candy boys excited about jpg elixir, those fragrances wouldn't survive today's insecurities leave them in the past and just go get yourself afnan 9pm
