Are you adding white gesso or white acrylic paint as you’re painting?
How do you get such a lovely blend with acrylics as I find my paintings dry out very quick.

First I prime the canvas twice with gesso. Then let it dry well. When painting, always put some white acrylic paint on the canvas to make the colours run better.

I always tell my course participants that they must paint up to 10 pictures before they master this technique. It is important to work with a dry brush, no water and if you want to paint from dark to light you have to use a clean brush.
Start with simple colors...no black...good for practice. light blue, white and dark blue and if you want you can add another blue like turquoise.

Ich habe dieses Video von Anfang bis Ende mit Begeisterung verfolgt. Ich hatte sogar etwas Gänsehaut (das kann aber auch an der schönen Melodie gelegen haben) Ein traumhaft schönes Bild ist da enstanden. Seit ich auf YT die Acrylarbeiten endeckt habe, kann ich mich nicht satt sehen. Ob ich es jemals schaffe so zu malen kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. Mich begeistert z.B. diese Machart "Fluid Painting" aber da die meistens dieser Videos auf Englisch sind, verstehe ich die Anleitungen nicht. So bleibt mir nur, die Videos anzusehen..

Erst sah es merkwürdig aus. Es gefiel mir nicht. Dann gefiel es mir plötzlich. Dann dachte ich: "Oh, damit hat sie es verdorben!". Ich fand es furchtbar. Und zum Schluss sieht es doch spektakulär aus.
Ganz merkwürdige Reise, auf die ich hier geschickt wurde. Danke für's mitnehmen.
Fazit: Das Endergebnis gefällt mir richtig gut.

Grazie mille, ripassate con il pennello più e più volte fino a quando non avrete una bella transizione. Non usare un pennello bagnato, deve essere asciutto e con poca vernice sul pennello.
