It was only a stroke of luck that Adam had the ability to copy abilities, because no one else in the human roster was touching Zeus. Raiden was probably the one chosen to beat Zeus, and he could pull it off if he could grab the guy, but Zeus is just way too fast for anyone that isn’t Adam Adam wasn’t a counter to Zeus, he was just the only one that could give a challenge to the old man
The monster he killed before he died was a demon. If his combat style focuses on deflecting and redirecting attacks then he directed all the demons attacks into itself. Basically he helped the demon commit the big sleep
