When a manufacturer calls a vehicle a concept the meaning is that this particular model or architecture has not been prepared for the production line. At this stage even if it has borrowed parts it has not been road tested or homologated. Until a vehicle goes through the entire process and is put on a production line it continues to be called a concept. Hope this adds some perspective.
