I have the exact same grinder, espresso machine and scales. I currently make espresso with the same workflow as this video, but was hoping to see a milk-first video. I'm told it's better to make espresso that way around, as it's quicker to cool the group head than it is to heat the boiler. Great video.
I bought it because people are saying it’s the best single boiler machine. But I don’t like the workflow after using it for a few months…and so I have switched to Lelit Bianca.
@@JoelGolden I like milk coffee, so I found the workflow to be a bit slow as I have to wait for the boiler to heat up. However, it's a good coffee machine if you only drink espresso.
@@360TechBrews I fix cappuccinos and lattes and do not have to wait. My machine is on a smart plug and is scheduled to turn on 20 mins before I get out of bed. So everything is primed and ready by the time I grind my beans. I pull my shot, turn on the steam switch to prep the boiler for frothing, and by the time I rinse my basket and measure my milk, it's at the correct temp to steam. Mine takes less than 2 mins to hit the proper temp. If yours takes longer, perhaps your boiler needs some descaling?

Thanks! I tried milk first, which made the workflow faster. However, the steamed milk needs to sit for a while when making espresso.
How many oz has your cup?
280ml ~9.5oz
Do you not need to prime the boiler again prior to steaming?
No, what he needed to do is to prime the boiler after steaming.
Use the bellows in the grinder with the motor running.
Yes the motor was running…maybe the grinder is too quiet 😂
@@360TechBrews My fault, I was watching video with audio off
No problem at all. Thanks for your suggestion!
The Sllvia has been on the matrket for about 20 years.
And really nothing has changed except for some minor updates.
The Silvia is just a hype.

@@360TechBrews I find it perfect for single person use. What about the workflow do you not like and how does it compare to the Lelit Bianca workflow?

@@360TechBrews very different budget machines...
This routine needs a lot of work.
Yes, but it’s ‘me’ time to enjoy the process in the morning 😊
@@360TechBrews You are worried priming the boiler that was already full but you forgot to fill it after steaming. Thats bad
