This is so cool! I have MD as well and play classic wow. It's so comforting to know that these solutions exist for when my disability progresses to the point of requiring this. I genuinely thought I was going to have to say goodbye to one of my hobbies in the future.
I've known of Lance Carr thru actor David Hewletts livestreams. We heard of a secret Google project and discussed the horrible disabilities interface on Apple iOS. Thank goodness Google is giving this a high priority! Love this community
reminds me of the microsoft connect's abilities but with much greater detail. I know there was a time where the connect hardware was used aftermarket by opensource people and scientists applying it to other problems. I commend google for Developing this technology and helping this cool man!
I am also a MD patient. Please do something specifically with muscular dystrophy patient. Any project or anything .. However people will know more about md.
You are why Gameface was created my MD brother, as you know finding ways for people like us to participate is really hard so I thought this up and then worked with Google to get it just right.
@@gimpyggaming4287 I am waiting for the successful completion of this project. If remotely any opinion or survey is needed as an MD patient I can help.
Gameface of God and of Gosh. Who you are in the gameface of God isn't who you are in the gameface of Gosh... Big topic. Regarding having a profile system that reduces sign language and interpretations of communication to just a single direction signal; profiles for records and content easily moved by internet activity like the clouds blow it away. A gameface profile and how it existing would be like predicting the quantum position of it's location while it's in perpetual movement from the clouds. (Like, a summary screenshot filing system for profiles; not like an instant replay (but that's cool too)). Like, government spending and congress social interactions isn't 'Activision Blizzard', because it's extremely light like humidity and tropical mist (not snow storms nor hurricanes (211 isn't gameface? Hmm...)).
Thank you for describing the benefits of this accessibility approach, Lance. I'm more confident than ever that AI is a pivotal field which I would like to contribute to in some way. This is exactly what technology is for; enabling ourselves and others.
OMG! That’s SO cool! 😮 I have congenital muscular dystrophy and I also have problems with playing games at my computer. PLEASE let Project GameFace come to Sweden so I can use it too! 🙏
Fantastic tech, I just downloaded it to try, but was disappointed to see it doesn't work to control your mouse in Windows. Am I missing something or is this just the API that needs to be integrated into games? Seems a wasted opportunity as people who need help playing games with this tool would also find it useful in Windows.
My brother suffered from Duchennes MD and died just before his 18th birthday. Technology such as this would have made such a difference to his world. Keep on gaming and living and enjoying life.

Thanks@@sirbughunter, I didn't see that mistake. Also why did RUclips forward me this notification 6 months later lol?
I have Neuro-Behcet's Disease and hand control is something I struggle with massively. Adaptive technologies like these are so needed by many,
God I would kill to watch people play fighting games with their face
Oh lord I'm imagining it now 😂
Lmaooooo
Fun to watch & fun to do! Throwing Blue Steel from Zoolander as a finishing move must be added.

Seriously Impressed!
This is absolutely fantastic! I believe it serves as an excellent illustration of how technology expands possibilities for each and every one of us.
This is absolutely incredible.
This is awesome technology. Great video too!
It amazes me that something like this could ever be downvoted. If it works, it will be game changing for millions of people.
Amazing! Great work to everyone involved :)

Huge Shout-out to David Hewlett the actor for finding Lance and helping get tech like this into the norm.
this is so cool awesome to see new tech like this
I'd love to use this just for pure speed so I can keep my hands on a keyboard
This is incredible, bravo Google!

this is really amazing . i hope this work for unity and unreal engine too also is there any tutorial for this ?
Good accessibility feature but not sure if this can turn out to be a game changing technology
Pretty cool
Why not create such things and make the world a better place to live instead of sending tanks to other countries?
what is the open source repo?
apple already does this and has done so for years.
Too Bad Google doesn't have a gaming service 🤦🤦🤦🤦
Using "he/him" is incredibly obnoxious Google.
why use Tchaikovsky's music for this??? 😔😔😔😔😔😔
Context please?
what song is it?
@@knishx Tchaikovsky - Piano Concerto No.1
It was really funny 🤣🤣
Because Yakety Sax would have been silly 😜! But seriously epic video about epic subject deserves epic music.
