Pakistani cooking isn't based on estimates really...its just the method taught is by "eye" or by taste...its only when amazing people like brother Afzaal starts making these fab videos is that we start to look at quantities units measurements etc 😀

I am Christian and we have Easter holiday coming up and I have taken up making biryani for a gathering lol. I wanted to get the best basmati chawal. I know about sella they are better for zarda and for biryani bc they do not break as easily while retaining the same long basmati length. And by watching your video I got to learn more and I’m grateful I know there are a lot more ppl that benefited from this extremely helpful and informative video. I now understand the whiteness of the rice when they are soaked for a while. I always used to wonder why ppl soak regular basmati for so long bc they cook so fast. Lol. Thank you again for the video. I have learned new things and you’re wonderful with the way you explain info.

Brother this is the best video on explaining what Sella rice is. However you forgot to mention that for diabetics the best rice is Sella rice because it doesn't spike blood sugar like the other two.
This is absolutely wrong. They are very very high in starch and it spikes your blood sugar badly. Only brown rice in small quantity is good. Speaking as a diabetic myself. This is the experience of many diabetics I know.
